Chapter 379 Memories of a Nightmare
Chapter 379 Memories of a Nightmare
"This creature is incredibly strong!" Dennis's pupils contracted in shock.
He estimated the mutant dog's strength to be at least at the peak of the third tier.
"Roar!" The mutant dog suddenly roared and lunged at Dennis, its gaping maw filled with sharp fangs aimed to bite down on him.
"Swish!" Dennis sidestepped, his body instantly disappearing from the spot, narrowly avoiding the attack.
"Roar!" The mutant dog, having missed its target, twisted its body and charged at Dennis again.
"Whoosh!" Dennis dodged once more, but the mutant dog's reflexes were incredibly fast. It managed to latch onto his pant leg.
"Beast, you asked for it!" Dennis roared in anger, grabbing the mutant dog's head with both hands. He clamped his legs tightly around the dog's waist and swung it violently, slamming it into the wall.
Watching this, Alex shook his head, thinking Dennis was being excessively brutal.
But the next second, Alex's eyes widened in disbelief.
"Smack!" Dennis dropped to one knee, pressing his right palm against the mutant dog's forehead, pushing it forward with force.
"Bang!" With a dull thud, the mutant dog's head was embedded into the wall, blood spilling everywhere.
At this moment, Alex's heart skipped a beat, his face filled with astonishment.
"How... how is this kid so strong..." Alex muttered to himself, swallowing hard.
He had seen it clearly—Dennis had struck the mutant dog seven or eight times, each punch landing precisely on its vital spots.
If it were him, he couldn't have managed such precise attacks!
"Huff, huff, huff!" Suddenly, the sound of heavy footsteps echoed, and dozens of zombies surged from the other end of the corridor.
"Damn it, more of them?" Dennis muttered in frustration, seeing the approaching horde of zombies. He quickly scrambled to his feet and started running.
The number of zombies was extraordinarily large, forcing Dennis to run with all his might to escape.
Although his strength had reached the early stage of the second tier, dealing with so many zombies was still very challenging.
"Roar!"
A third-tier zombie roared, leading a large group of zombies in pursuit.
"Do you think I'm weak just because I haven't shown my power?" Dennis cursed, unable to hold back his anger as the zombies chased him relentlessly.
In the next moment, he sprang off the ground, leaping into the air, and delivered a fierce roundhouse kick to a zombie's neck.
Dennis couldn't help but curse, his eyes filled with intense seriousness.
This silver zombie was even more terrifying than the others, its height making it even more daunting.
"Be careful. You might not be able to handle that thing," Alex cautioned from the side.
"I know." Dennis nodded, his body tensing as he prepared to strike.
"Roar!" The silver zombie growled lowly, stepping forward slowly.
Dennis narrowed his eyes and suddenly stepped forward, his fists clenched tightly, and delivered a powerful blow to the silver zombie's chest.
"Bang!"
This time, the silver zombie wasn't knocked away but staggered back several steps.
The silver zombie steadied itself, its blood-red eyes locked onto Dennis, and a sinister smile spread across its face.
"Roar!" The silver zombie roared and lunged forward with incredible speed.
"Hmph!" Dennis snorted, charging forward as well, his fists swinging with a whooshing sound towards the silver zombie.
The silver zombie also swung its fists.
"Bang, bang, bang!" Their fists collided repeatedly, producing a series of dull thuds and stirring up gusts of wind.
Dust swirled around them, making it hard to see.
Dennis and the silver zombie moved so fast that the naked eye couldn't keep up, and all that could be heard was the rapid sound of fists clashing.
"Crack!" Suddenly, the sound of bones breaking echoed.
The silver zombie opened its mouth, revealing a glowing fang.
Dennis's face changed, and he quickly pulled back, raising his arms in defense and retreating.
"Rip!" As Dennis pulled back, the silver zombie grabbed his left shoulder and yanked hard.
"Snap!" His arm dislocated instantly, causing Dennis to inhale sharply in pain.
The silver zombie then lifted its right leg, aiming a kick at Dennis's chest.
"Smack!" Dennis managed to dodge the attack and, using the momentum, drove his elbow into the silver zombie's throat.
"Gurgle!" The silver zombie's throat bulged, and it let out a strange gurgling sound. Its body suddenly stiffened, frozen in place with an expression of unresolved hatred.
