The shop assistant saw the two of them about to go inside. The shy young lady was initially hesitant, but eventually made her decision, and couldn't help but smile like a proud aunt.
So, although the shop assistant still wore that professional smile, Violet felt that something had changed. It was probably intuition; even a psychological shift was something Violet could sense.
"Um, Lina, why don't you try it first?"
Vera was too embarrassed to take her clothes off directly, so she passed the buck to Saint Karina. Perhaps she was hoping that Saint Karina would back down.
However, she clearly underestimated the shamelessness of this wicked woman. For a seasoned woman like her, there was nothing wrong with taking off or changing clothes. They were both girls; what she had, the other woman had too—what was there to be embarrassed about?
Taking off clothes is a perfectly normal behavior; she does it at least twice a day, for example, when taking a bath, and sometimes several times depending on her needs. Only an innocent little girl like Violet would care so much about such things.
So, right in front of Vera, Saint Karina boldly took off all the excess silk fabrics from her body and then tried on and on her clothes.
First, there's the dress. Saint Karina chose black, paired with a brand new bra, which gave Violet a strong visual impact.
Next up are casual wear, ranging from long-sleeved shirts to jackets and sweatshirts.
The weather has turned slightly cooler now. Although Saint Karina can use magic to keep warm and is not afraid of the cold, she no longer wears short sleeves, but rather obediently wears at least long sleeves. Unless, of course, she is doing something special that requires her to be naked.
Those kinds of things usually happen at night, but occasionally they can happen on other timelines.
Soon, all the clothes had been tried on in front of Violet, and it was Violet's turn to try them on.
She felt embarrassed to ask Saint Karina out, since the other woman claimed to be a friend and was completely open with her, changing clothes without any hesitation, while she herself was hiding her secrets. It just didn't make sense.
However, she also couldn't bring herself to wear the same interview clothes as Santa Karina.
She has this shy personality and blushes easily. Even if someone is enjoying watching something, she still struggles when it's her turn.
“Well… Lina, if you’ve tried them all on and the sizes are all right, my clothes used to be made by my mothers, and they measured my body size beforehand, so these clothes should also be the right size. I think you don’t need to try them on, you can just pack them up and take them back.”
After thinking for a long time, Violet gave what she thought was a good reason.
She wasn't lying; her clothes were indeed made by her mothers when she was little. After that, she had them made by a tailor, but the tailor was a village tailor, and that auntie was very meticulous; there was absolutely no chance of her having to redo the clothes because of the wrong size.
"No, that won't do. It's not about the size. Besides the size, we also need to consider whether the clothes look good and whether they suit our style. We also need to see if the fabric feels comfortable against our skin. Just touching the fabric doesn't tell the difference between how it looks on and how it actually feels."
Saint Karina noticed Vera's hesitation and retreat.
At this point, she could certainly let the other person off the hook and let them be a coward. But why would Santa Karina do that? Would it do her any good to give the other person a way out?
Having finally managed to lure the other person in as a friend, I can't let this opportunity slip away.
Violet is too timid. If she can't get closer to him like this, who knows how long it will take?
Saint Karina didn't have time to play friend games with Vera; her goal was to use friendship as a springboard to reach a higher level.
"Oh, I see. You probably find the skirt too difficult to put on. The zipper is in the back, which makes it quite difficult for an individual to put on. It's hard to manage without help. You rarely wear skirts, probably because you're afraid of embarrassing yourself. I understand, I understand. You don't need to explain. I can help you. We're friends, after all. It's only right for friends to help each other."
Violet was about to say something, but Saint Karina saw through her. She pretended to be clueless and kept talking, effectively shutting down everything Violet wanted to say.
“I… sigh, I know. We are indeed friends, and I can’t let you be the only one being looked at like this. I can’t be disloyal. Okay, I’m really not good at wearing skirts and I’m afraid of embarrassing myself, which is why I’ve kept declining. But if you don’t laugh at me, Lina, then I’ll give it a try.”
Violet found herself having nothing more to say. Fortunately, Saint Karina's words had provided her with a way out, so she decided to accept it.
They're friends... she can't be disloyal. Loyalty isn't just for boys; girls should value it too.
So, Vera nodded, finally agreeing. And she also agreed to let Saint Karina help.
She wasn't entirely lying. She almost never wore skirts when she was little; she mostly wore simple casual clothes or armor for training with her mother. So she certainly wouldn't wear such elaborate skirts.
She was also somewhat afraid of making a fool of herself...
"Hehe, don't worry, I won't laugh at you. I know you didn't have much experience with these things back in that village. But don't worry, with me by your side, you'll get more and more skilled as you get used to them. Even without my help, you'll be able to do it very well and put it on easily."
So, Saint Karina and Vera, who were two bodies apart, moved closer together, with Saint Karina stepping forward.
Instead of taking Violet's dress first, she planned to help Violet take it off.
This is helping someone change clothes; it's a perfectly healthy act.
The two of them didn't do anything; they were just trying on clothes.
But as Saint Karina drew closer, Violet realized that what she had thought was a great distance was now incredibly close. Her perceived safe distance was utterly insignificant. Saint Karina's breath was entirely on her neck and back.
Saint Karina was already very considerate of her, so instead of helping her undress face-to-face, she approached from behind to ease her stress.
However, this is only Vera's opinion. The seemingly benevolent demeanor displayed by Saint Karina is merely a facade. If she were bold enough to turn around, she would discover that Saint Karina's gaze is so lewd and so unrestrained.
She scrutinized every inch of Vera's body with amusement, a playful smile playing on her lips.
This smile is like that of a hunter looking at prey that has fallen into a trap.
"call……"
His hot breath blew up again.
"Hey..."
Vera let out a soft moan, her body trembling, and large, hot beads of sweat slid down her thighs.
Her breath was so hot that Violet could feel it; Saint Karina was igniting every inch of her skin.
"Guest, what's wrong?"
Upon hearing Violet call out, the shop assistant standing at the door immediately inquired.
Out of professional ethics, she had to stand guard at the door to prevent any accidents from happening in the fitting room. This way, they could deal with the situation promptly and prevent it from escalating further.
"Um...I, I'm fine, ah..."
Vera quickly explained.
However, she couldn't help but breathe in Saint Karina's breath and called out again.
"Miss, are you really alright? Are you okay?"
"Um... I'm really fine. I was just trying on clothes and almost tripped. Luckily, I grabbed the wall and didn't fall. So it's okay, I'll go out after I'm done trying them on."
To avoid making any strange noises or other disturbances, Violet had no choice but to remain silent.
She had to try her best to hold back and not make a sound. Even if her little face turned bright red, it wouldn't work.
"I see... Well then, please be careful... If you need anything, please let me know anytime..."
Although Violet's words were full of flaws, the shop assistant did not investigate further.
She thought maybe the two of them were playing some fun games in the fitting room. This young lady looked like the one below; it was normal for her to be bullied.
Many nobles enjoyed this amusing game, but the shop assistant didn't expose it. She didn't want to risk offending anyone; taking up a few extra hours in the fitting rooms was fine, since the other fitting rooms were already available. As long as she could sell clothes, she would clean the fitting rooms afterward, even if they got dirty.
The clothes that Saint Karina and Vera chose were not cheap, which would result in a good sales commission.
Saint Karina watched as Vera dared not utter a sound, desperately trying to suppress her emotions. Her already amused expression grew even more intrigued.
Poor Violet, she has no idea what awaits her next...
335. Goat-Headed Demon
Her clothes were removed one by one, and Vera had returned to her newborn state.
Next, it's time to put it on.
"what……"
Because she dared not make too much noise, Vera could only suppress the gasps that threatened to burst from her throat by controlling her breathing.
Then she felt two cold hands cover her from behind, enveloping her feminine advantage.
The other person's hands were very still; they didn't do anything, yet Violet felt as if she had been set on fire.
Those fingertips, slightly cooler than hers, sent shivers down her spine as they touched her skin, leaving it flushed.
"Lina...why don't I do it myself?"
"What are you talking about? Now that things have come to this, of course I'll help you to the end."
Saint Karina feigned ignorance and refused Violet's request.
"Click."
Then, she easily helped Vera fasten the buckle from behind.
Suddenly, she was tightened with a snap, her feminine advantage surging. She felt ashamed, her toes curling inward. If she weren't still wearing enough clothes, Violet probably would have run out.
That's probably what it feels like to flee in panic.
"Shall I help you with the rest?"
"Um……"
Vera nodded, blushing.
She was thankful that all the triangular fabrics in the stores couldn't be tried on in-store; you had to buy them and try them on at home. And unlike other items, unless there was a quality issue, returns and exchanges weren't allowed even if the size didn't fit.
Otherwise, she would have to let Saint Karina see her indescribable parts right now.
Not allowing customers to try it isn't because the business is unethical, but rather because if everyone could try such a product, imagine how customers would be hesitant to buy it.
Disease X. It is a very common condition among physical therapists.
Magicians are versatile, but not omnipotent.
Hiring priests and clergy is an exorbitant expense that ordinary families simply cannot afford. At the very least, one would need to be a nobleman or a wealthy person.
"Screw rustle..."
The sound of clothes being hung up and placed in empty spaces returned to Saint Karina's hands echoed from inside. Then, these clothes needed to be given to their owners to wear.
"It's a little itchy..."
The fabric rubbed against her skin. Violet couldn't help but say it itched.
"You're just not used to it yet, just bear with it a little longer."
"Saint Karina said."
She didn't stop because of Vera's various discomforts. Just like the first time, there's an initial feeling of something foreign, and it's very uncomfortable. But once you get used to it, as time brings up the air temperature and humidity, it becomes comfortable.
All the previous discomfort will disappear.
Dresses can be a bit cumbersome for an individual to wear, but they become much simpler when there is someone to serve you.
"See, with my help, isn't it quick?"
"Um……"
Violet nodded; her mind was already quite muddled, and she could only listen to whatever Saint Karina said.
Next, Santa Karina didn't continue teasing her. Instead, she helped her put on the dress and zipped it up from behind.
After that, since the clothes were casual wear, Saint Karina's help wasn't needed.
Saint Karina was somewhat disappointed by Vera's rejection, but she didn't press the issue. Sometimes you can't push too hard, as that puts too much pressure on someone. She did feel a little regretful, though; if their relationship had progressed further, there would be more room for maneuver now.
After that, Saint Karina teased Violet a little with her words, but didn't do anything more outrageous.
When they walked out of the fitting room, their shopping trip at the mall came to an end.
"Thank you for your patronage! We welcome you both to visit us again next time!"
The shop assistant was naturally delighted to see the two of them carrying so many bags of purchases.
Her smile used to be a business smile, but now it's a genuine smile from the heart.
Nobody hates money. The more the merrier; the better. Ideally, it should be piled up like a mountain.
After I paid the bill, the cashier said something very honest:
"If you two think the other is a good person, you should definitely get along well. Seize the opportunity so you won't regret it later. Life only happens once, there are no second chances."
These words were spoken to the two young, inexperienced shop assistants who were a couple.
Although Violet wanted to explain further, she had already received a discount and decided to give up. She couldn't afford to lose money.
So, with a subtle smile from the shop assistant, the two left the store.
Walking back onto the street, Violet was somewhat speechless:
"Lina, why do they all think we're a couple? We're clearly not... that kind of relationship."
She couldn't help but complain.
"Perhaps it's because we're a handsome man and a beautiful woman? We're a perfect match."
Saint Karina grinned and teased him.
