Chapter 98 Blue
"Have you read the newspaper?!"
Upon entering the laboratory, Harry saw several familiar companions inside, but Peter was nowhere to be seen.
He was holding a brand-new newspaper in his hand, although the part of the newspaper held by his fingers was a little wrinkled.
Harry slammed the newspaper on the table and exclaimed, "Are these guys in such a hurry?!"

Gwen glanced at the newspaper; the headline read: Spider-Man's true identity to be revealed tomorrow, location: Rockefeller Center Plaza. Her gaze then drifted downwards.
The Horn Daily was published.
A personal note from Jonah Jameson followed: "Where are the other two Spider-Men?! Why aren't they revealing their identities? Or are they plotting something terrible against this city?!"
Gwen rolled her eyes at this.
She didn't know what Peter was thinking, that he would actually provide his own photo to this newspaper and then let the media smear him.
Do you have any unusual fetishes?
Harry asked, "Gwen, where is Peter now?"
Gwen sighed. "Home or some street, I don't know exactly. I specifically looked for him before I came here, and he said he was fine."
Harry asked, puzzled, "You weren't with him?"
Gwen shrugged, looking quite helpless. "I wanted to stay with him, but he kicked me out."
Upon hearing this, Connors, who knew how deep their feelings were, was somewhat stunned.
"Hurry?!"
Gwen said, "Okay, I mean, he seems completely fine. Really! Nothing at all. Even if you just stood there with him all day, he wouldn't seem like the type to open up to you."
"After that, Aunt Mei asked him to go for a walk with her, and you know, it was obvious that she wanted to talk to me alone, so I didn't go. Instead, I came here to see if you guys have any thoughts on this."
Otto, busy repairing his Iron Spider suit, poked his head out: "Are you... are you stupid? You'll change your last name to Parker sooner or later, why don't you go with him?"
Gwen's face flushed bright red: "I don't think they really want me to go!"
Connors asked, "Did May Parker say you could come along?"
"I said it... I thought it was just a polite remark..."

Harry couldn't stand it anymore. He waved his hand and slapped the table, making a sound.
"We have to do something!"
He had actually made some potentially useful calls a long time ago, but ever since he dissolved the Osborne Group, those high-ranking people who used to fawn over him no longer pay him any attention.
All they can say is, "Oh, it's Iron Man Harry! What's wrong?"
The tone of voice was exactly like someone coaxing a child!
He can't stand even a little bit!
The group fell silent, seemingly hesitant about the feasibility of their ideas and needing to reconsider.
Toms felt like a light bulb had lit up next to his head.
He said, "I have a plan."
All eyes immediately turned to him.
Otto silently turned off the light bulb.
"Huh, where's my light bulb... Oh well, that's not important."
Toms said, "There will definitely be a lot of people gathered at Rockefeller Center Plaza tomorrow. I'll fly over there and cause them some trouble!? Make this public meeting end badly!"
"What kind of crazy idea is this? It might help temporarily, but it won't work forever, and Peter won't agree to you doing it!"
"Then I have no other ideas."
Connors turned to Gwen and asked, "What about your father? Isn't he going to do anything?"
"I don't know, I didn't ask. I heard he's going to be promoted to bureau chief soon, and I haven't seen him for the past couple of days."
"Ha, I knew it, he really is a selfish person."

A coffee shop.
Peter and Aunt May sat facing each other, while Oz lazily lay on the table, stretching his head to eat the golden fries on the plate.
"So...aren't you going to say anything? It can't be that you're regretting not coming because Gwen didn't come, can it?"
Aunt Mei took a sip of coffee and smiled.
Peter shook his head: "No, that's not true. I also thought Gwen would come, but she said she had something to do."
Then he sighed and said, "Mei, I had a nightmare last night."
Tell me about it.
A look of recollection crossed Peter's face as he said, "I dreamt that I was locked up with the lizardmen, the demons, and Craven and his gang, and of course, some criminals I had previously stopped."
"I was separated from them by an iron bar, and I couldn't tell which side was the prison cell."
"I can't tell if I'm a prisoner or... a hero?"
Aunt Mei laughed and said, "You were the hero who saved the city last night, and now you're suddenly thinking about this."
Oz, propping his head up, chimed in, "Isn't he always like this? A typical player who burns himself out, wanting to shoulder all the responsibility."
Aunt Mei nodded in agreement.
Peter was left speechless, both amused and exasperated by Oz's words and Aunt May's attitude.
He mimicked Oz's gesture, resting his chin on his hand and gazing out the window.
"Before this, I saved a guy named Horror. If it weren't for him, perhaps last night's events wouldn't have happened."
"I don't know if my actions were meaningful, and I don't know if he will continue to appear in the public eye in the future. Of course, I mean he will continue to appear as a horror character."
"This confuses me."
Peter shifted his gaze to Aunt May: "Uncle Ben told me before he left that with great power comes great responsibility. I've kept that in mind and use it as my motivation to become Spider-Man."
"I've been Spider-Man for several months now, and this is the first time I've questioned whether I made the right choice."
"I mean, my fight with Craven has already involved so many people."
"If I hadn't made a deal with the city government, we wouldn't have had such a peaceful night last night."
Peter pointed out the window as he finished speaking.
Outside the window, a bustling crowd of people, each with a different expression on their face, and new vehicle models constantly appearing in view.
"Mei, can you imagine how many people would be injured if I fought the enemy in this situation?"
Meryl Streep said, "I never think about things that haven't happened yet."
"But I will."
Peter said in a deep voice, "I'll imagine the worst-case scenario, what if I don't do well?"
"Here we go again, Mei. Let's go. Ignore him. He only brings negative emotions."
The crow lay on the dining table and flapped its wings.
Aunt May just smiled at Oz's words, and then said, "Maybe you should go and tell them what motivated you to become Spider-Man, tell them your story."
Peter remained silent, seemingly considering the possibility.
After all, tomorrow is the day I'll reveal my secret identity.
"I think...maybe."
He turned back to look out the window, gazing at the sky.
It's very blue.
That's just like how he feels right now.
Very depressed.
