Chapter 45 The Mad Percy
Chapter 45 The Mad Percy
"An adult wizard can't defeat Vio?"
"So what?" Ron continued, reaching into the pocket of his wizard's robe, then added, "At most, it shows that Vio has some magical foundation."
Percy the Mad West: "What do you think can happen! All we'll end up doing is hanging up and beating us to a pulp!"
He spoke extremely quickly: "In terms of practical combat ability, Vio in his second year wouldn't be much worse than I am now! Let alone now! I suspect that Vio might be only one step away from becoming an elite wizard!!!"
"You want me to beat him?"
Harry, the dueling assistant, was pale-faced, wondering if he should catch a cold tonight.
Hermione was somewhat worried. She sensed that Ron held a very important place in Vio's heart, and she feared that Ron, in his current state, would refuse to apologize and anger Vio...
Should I go find Ryan? But Ryan never comes home at night... Her brows furrowed as she pondered a solution.
George and Fred quietly retreated in front of Percy. They were not fools. Considering Percy's current performance and Vio's expectations for another confrontation with Percy, they decided to take action.
It's quite obvious that we can conclude that Percy really was beaten up by Vio.
This time, Vio was clearly furious and intended to hang all the Weasleys up and beat them.
George and Fred looked at each other, their eyes darting around. They realized they only had one choice: hand Ron over.
As for getting beaten up along with Ron?
"No, Percy, Ron is our own brother!" Fred cried.
"The Weasleys' hero cannot so easily admit his mistake to Malfoy!" George took something out of his pocket, wiped it on his eyes, and when he opened them again, they were already red and two lines of tears were streaming down his face.
Hearing George and Fred's heartfelt words of brotherly unity, Percy's mental state shifted from mania to madness, and he appeared normal again.
"But Vio won't let someone who spoke rudely to Ryan and the club members off easily. Do you have any ideas?" he asked, hoping his two brothers, whose attitude had suddenly hardened, would come up with some brilliant ideas.
"I think we need 1,000 Galleons!" x2
"A thousand Galleons, what does that mean?" Percy didn't understand.
George and Fred both said, "He'll have to spend at least a thousand Galleons to get us to accept this result! And he'll have to name our joke shop after us!"
Percy was surprised, as if a sound suddenly went off in his head, his vision went black, and he heard a booming sound in his ears.
He chuckled, "This feels pretty good."
..........
"Draco, remember what I told you. If he insists on dueling, you don't need to aim. Just apply a lot of spells to suppress him. You first-year wizards haven't had any systematic experience with dueling or footwork. He can't dodge it."
"It's almost time, we should get going."
Vio glanced at the time and stopped talking to Malfoy.
"Fine, I'll make Ron accountable for what he said!" Malfoy jumped off the sofa, straightened his clothes, and meticulously styled his hair.
Suddenly, he asked Vio, "Senior Vio, will Ron not go because he's afraid of you?"
"That's such a pity, Draco. It's such a pity," Vio said slowly.
Malfoy didn't think it was a pity for Ron, if it weren't for the fact that he had spent time with the members of the Adventurers' Club these past few days and changed some of his views.
According to his pre-enrollment mindset, such a thing should be arranged at a time and place, then the other party should be stood up, and then the fact that someone was out at night should be reported to the professor.
Ron probably wouldn't have thought of this... Malfoy took his wand and followed Vio outside.
As soon as they stepped outside, Vio waved his wand, and Malfoy felt as if an egg had been knocked on his head, followed by a chilling sensation that spread throughout his body.
"Illusion Charm, an essential spell for nighttime exploration." Vio's voice echoed from the void ahead: "It can achieve a degree of invisibility, and is more convenient than a regular invisibility cloak."
Along the way, the two encountered many ghosts wandering around, and even saw a few young Ravenclaw wizards sneaking towards the library.
Inside the prize display room, Malfoy looked around while Ron and the others were still waiting.
After a while, he exclaimed as if he had discovered a new continent: "Senior Ryan has won so many trophies! Outstanding Student Award, Outstanding Person Award, Special Contribution Award..."
"That shows that Ryan's daily donations of books and prescriptions to the school weren't for nothing," Vio said, glancing at the wall opposite him. "Someone's coming."
Upon hearing this, Malfoy gripped his wand tightly, staring nervously at the door of the prize display room.
The gate slowly opened, but the creaking sound echoed throughout the entire castle!
"Ron! I shouldn't have let you open the door!" Harry's voice came from outside. "This will definitely alert Filch!"
"A normal door opening wouldn't make this much noise, you did it on purpose, didn't you?" Fred said.
"Obviously, Ronnie must have sensed we were going to betray him and was planning to make a scene so everyone would get locked up. It would also give him a chance to get revenge on Vio and Malfoy," George said.
"Lubricate! Silence! You can use a spell!" It was Percy's voice, sounding somewhat agitated.
"Good heavens, Filch might be here any minute," a little witch's voice rang out.
To Vio's surprise, it was Hermione's voice. He had a deep memory of this young wizard, the only one to pass the Lane test in his first year, and he remembered her as someone who preferred to follow the rules and act within the established order.
Ron and his group entered, and the two groups stared at each other.
Fred: "Regardless, the vibrant atmosphere of several Weasleys enrolling in succession is still fresh in our minds! This duel will certainly not be the Weasleys's downfall!"
"I say, Fred is right!" George chimed in.
Vio saw that Percy looked very unwell, as if he had just recovered from a serious illness, and took two steps forward: "It was indeed Ron's fault for talking behind Ryan's back. I have already taught him a lesson, and he has promised not to talk about Ryan again."
"And then there's the feud between Malfoy and Ron. You know, the two families have always had a tense relationship, and Lucius has been too aggressive."
"So, for a moment, Mr. Ron, mindful of the 'hostile relationship,' spoke out righteously and fearlessly against his opponent?" Vio raised an eyebrow, his hand naturally slipping into the pocket containing his wand.
"Of course not, he's just a kid..." Percy said. "Hopefully, they'll have a fight. As Ryan says, 'No fight, no friendship,' right?"
The prize display room was dark at night, with only the sparse stars outside the window casting their glow.
The light slightly illuminated parts of the dim interior.
Vio remained noncommittal about Percy's statement, noticing that Ron stood in the shadows where there was no light and hadn't uttered a word since he entered.
This was clearly not acquiescence, but rather anger and a feeling of injustice.
Vio was really curious about what Ron would do next to defend what he considered to be his "dignity".
"Of course! I'll show him what a real Malfoy is!" Malfoy stepped forward, saying, "Ron, come here right now, I'll take care of you before Filch gets here!"
