All of this is happening in such a wondrous way that, beyond the vast expanse of time and space, Dr. Manhattan is observing the development of the DC multiverse.

At first, he thought that the Supreme Superman that Chen Tao brought from the Dark Multiverse was just a poor reflection of the Supreme Superman himself in the Dark Multiverse, but he soon discovered that this Superman who appeared from the Dark Multiverse was connected to the Superman in the Light Multiverse.

After the Legion of Three Realms incident, the timeline advanced again, the New 52 occurred, the DC universe was reborn, and the Batman from the Dark Multiverse used the two universes as a hammer to push the Anti-Monitor into the Light Multiverse... advancing again, until now...
Batman threw Parallax Morhal and Superman Supreme to Barbatos.

There must be something that caused the time loop to close, and Dr. Manhattan wants to see it; he wants to understand it.

Then he saw the Time Master, panting heavily, followed by another version of the Golden Vanguard. The two of them openly opened a time portal in front of Chen Tao, and on the other side of the portal, "Final Crisis" was taking place.
