Chapter 82, Part 82...
The hall was no longer as noisy as before; students were whispering in small groups.
Harry and Hermione sat on the Gryffindor long bench, and because there was no one else around, they stood out.
Hermione put her hand on Harry's shoulder. "How are you feeling, Harry?"
"fine"
Harry blinked repeatedly and sniffed. "Rand didn't come?"
Hermione: ... "Can't you see for yourself? You have two eggs hanging under your eyebrows." All her good intentions to comfort her were wasted.
Harry: Did she eat gunpowder?
He subtly shifted his position to the side, deciding not to stoop to the level of explosives.
-
Landric did not go to the hall.
He was still in his lounge, being held tightly in Draco's arms.
Landric's expression remained unchanged, and the person next to him was breathing steadily, appearing to be asleep.
The hand around her waist was constantly stroking it.
Landric felt a faint sense of death lingering over him.
He still had that aloof demeanor, but his body was trembling intermittently.
Ten, nine, eight, seven...
"Take your hand away."
Ten seconds is enough; you can't deprive a horse of grass every day.
Draco pretended not to hear.
Landric raised an eyebrow.
"Brother, brother, I was wrong. Put me down. I'm not wearing any clothes."
Draco floated into the air with the blanket he was wearing, his hands and legs clinging tightly to it.
Landric couldn't help but sigh again, "It has to be magic from the magical world, it's so useful!"
Then he got up to change his clothes.
"No need to cover it up"
Draco's eyes lit up.
"Flat body"
Draco is alive but slightly dead.
"I'm just young, I haven't fully developed yet!"
Landric glanced between someone's legs.
"Then good luck!"
With his legs tightly pressed together, Draco lay in the air like a plank, determined to defend his dignity to the death.
Let him grow a few more years.
Landric changed his clothes and then put Draco down.
Draco lay on his side on the bed, propping his head up as he looked at his handsome brother.
"Brother, I heard Lockhart left?"
Landric didn't object much; he just did what he was supposed to do.
"Yes, and then?"
Draco sat up, his fair skin accentuated by the dark green sheets.
The person who was shy like an innocent puppy just moments ago is now casually putting on clothes right in front of Landric.
Landric sometimes didn't know how many faces Draco actually had.
He sat quietly in the chair with his head tilted back, the slender and graceful curve of his neck catching Draco's eye.
Draco clenched his fingers.
Even though his brother still looked aloof and sickly, he could no longer understand him.
More and more Slytherins are becoming obedient, and outwardly everyone continues to act the same as before. But internally, a trend is subtly forming with Landric as the leader.
Dumbledore's attention was increasingly focused on his brother, even allowing his savior to gravitate towards him. He didn't even intervene when Potter was in such a serious situation.
Why?
Many questions weighed on Draco's mind, leaving him feeling somewhat lost.
Despite his many thoughts, Draco was still worried that Landric would get impatient, so he didn't slow down his work at all.
"It's breakfast time and it's not over yet. Would you like to go take a look?"
Draco smirked. "No need for that. I can imagine what it's like there."
Landric: "Go eat."
Draco:
"OK"
Now you want to get rid of him but you're not making excuses anymore, is that it?
Garlic Bird, at least wait here until he's dressed before leaving.
……
Landric went to deliver a letter.
When Hedwig saw Landric, she couldn't help but pounce on him, knocking other birds away in the process.
The Malfoy family's golden eagles received particular attention.
Like master, like bird.
Landric touched Hedwig's head with his fingers.
"Wait a moment, little princess."
The golden eagle, gleaming brightly, flew away first.
The curse trapped Hedwig and another owl.
Landric estimated the time; breakfast should be over.
I hadn't thought about having breakfast anyway, so I just went to the library.
As for Snape's morning classes?
Yeah, we escaped. It'll just be a bit tough on that little dragon.
Meanwhile, Draco was extremely uncomfortable.
From the moment he stepped into the classroom, he got goosebumps.
"What?" Draco tossed his robes and sat down.
See, see, I know you're not looking at me, but the person you want to see hasn't come.
Everyone turned their heads back in unison.
Draco: He knew it! They're all a bunch of jerks!
Since that incident, he and Landric have rarely appeared in public.
Their overt and covert attention over the past few days was simply because of the necklace around his neck.
Sigh, it's a little heartbreaking.
Perhaps after a while his amulet will no longer be unique.
Draco wiped away non-existent tears.
Everything is for the greater good.
