Chapter 175 Entering the Secret Chamber, Fighting the Snake Monster

Chapter 175 Entering the Secret Chamber, Fighting the Snake Monster

What I didn't expect was that the three little ones were so amazing. In just a few days, while I was in class with the Geminis, Severus interrupted our class and took me away.

“The three of them have already set off. It seems they already know the entrance to the secret chamber, but I didn’t expect them to bring Gilderoy Lockhart along,” Severus said as we walked.

"What's going on? Why did they bring Gilderoy Lockhart along?" I was genuinely curious about what was going on, that Harry and Ron would bring Gilderoy Lockhart along to that Chamber of Secrets.

"It seems that Miss Hermione Granger accidentally fell in, and then Harry and Ron found Gilderoy Lockhart nearby and asked him to go in and rescue Miss Hermione Granger." Severus paused here.

"Then Gilderoy Lockhart heard about it and tried to run away, but Harry and Ron caught him and dragged him into the Chamber of Secrets, right?" Following Severus's explanation, I could guess the final outcome.

"Yes, and because it's morning, quite a few young wizards saw the entrance to the secret chamber." When Severus led me to the girls' restroom, curious young wizards were peeking inside from outside the door, while Filch stood outside blocking them from entering.

“Let’s go in too. I’ve already told the basilisk that it shouldn’t hurt them too badly, just a minor fight.” I dragged Severus inside, and as soon as we were in, Filch blocked the doorway.

"Now that you're here, it's not convenient for me to go in. You go down and keep an eye on them." We had just stepped inside when we saw Headmaster Dumbledore standing at the entrance to the secret chamber, peering out.

“Okay, I’ll keep an eye on them.” I cast a levitation spell on Severus and myself and jumped down.

"Be careful." Dumbledore stood there watching us jump down and disappear.

When Severus and I arrived underground, we didn't see the three little ones or Gilderoy Lockhart. It seems they had already gone deep inside.

"It feels like a fight has already broken out over there." We could feel the vibrations as we walked on the ground.

"Is that basilisk really afraid to do anything?" Severus was a little worried about Harry Potter. If it weren't for Lily's child, he really wouldn't want to get involved with him.

“Generally speaking, it wouldn’t dare. I’m just worried that Harry might lose control and kill the Basilisk. Let’s go and see how their fight goes.” I took Severus’s hand and we walked slowly.

"The vibration has lessened a bit, it should be over soon, let's walk a little faster." They said they were going to walk faster, but it turned out to be just a little faster than their normal walking speed.

"Ha~ Severus, at this speed, they'll be finished by the time we get there." I took off my gold-rimmed glasses, picked up Severus in a princess carry, and a golden beam flashed by.

On Harry's side, Hermione didn't petrify this time, Ron didn't break his wand, and Gilderoy Lockhart was knocked unconscious by them again.

The three little ones were actually putting up a pretty good fight against the basilisk.

"They're only in second grade now, it seems they really need to train hard." I stood in the shadows with Severus in my arms, watching the three of them prepare to run out of magic, while the basilisk was playfully wrestling with them, its eyes closed and water drained.

"Let's finish this. I think they've gotten a good workout." Severus looked at Hermione and Ron, who were already teetering on the edge, and now only Harry was still fighting.

"Alright." Since Severus has said so, I have no choice but to pull the three little ones out of the fighting circle.

I first led Ron and Hermione, who were already kneeling, away from the center of the fight, and then walked step by step toward the Basilisk.

"Harry, Basilisk, stop!" I easily dodged the basilisk's thrashing body, came to Harry, pulled him into my arms, and pulled him out of the fight.

"Ayers, what's going on with these people? They attacked me as soon as they arrived." The basilisk was completely bewildered and had no idea what was happening. These three little ones were the only ones in the secret chamber besides their master and Ayers, and he had a duty to protect the chamber.

"It's alright, it's alright. I just let them in to train a bit. You can go back now. I'll take them away from here in a bit (snake language)." I gently patted the basilisk's head.

"Alright, just don't bring anything here; it all belongs to the master." Even though Riddle only has half the bloodline, the basilisk can't do anything about it. It's not the basilisk's problem if the Slytherin's descendants are disappointing.

Seeing the basilisk slowly leave, the group felt that Ayers and the basilisk seemed to be quite familiar with each other.

"Senior Ayers, are you familiar with this giant snake?" Harry listened to my conversation with the basilisk while I was in my arms, and it seemed like we were quite familiar with each other.

“I know its owner.” I led Harry to Hermione and Ron.

"Then, Senior Ayers, are you really not the successor of Slytherin?" Ron looked at me with admiration, impressed that I could make the giant snake leave.

"To be precise, I am a pure-blood wizard of Slytherin, but not a descendant of Slytherin." Grindelwald's surname is indeed pure-blood, but it's not the right time to reveal it yet.

But speaking of which, I wonder if it's because of my soul, but if it were the original body, would it look down on Muggles and half-blood wizards, just like my own brother did?

"Senior Ayers, are you from a pure-blood family?" This time it was Hermione's turn to be surprised; she had always thought I was a half-blood wizard.

"Hmm." I don't want to say too much about my surname; it's not the time to reveal it yet.

“Let’s go, Headmaster Dumbledore is waiting upstairs.” Just then, Severus emerged from the shadows.

"Senior Ayers, what exactly is going on?" Harry was eager to know what was happening.

"Let's go back first. What's the deal with Professor Lockhart?" She looked at the man lying on the ground with disdain.

"He was punched by Hermione and this is what happened to him." Ron also found it difficult to describe the person lying on the ground.

"I really didn't expect him to be that kind of person. He's such a disappointment." Hermione clenched her fists indignantly. If she weren't a girl, she would have killed this man long ago for wasting her precious time.

"Let's go, let's go up first." He cast the 'Levitation Spell' on everyone, and the group floated up. If it weren't for the three little ones with me, I would have dragged Severus down with me.

This was the first time the three little ones had flown without riding flying broomsticks, and they thought it was really fun.

"Senior Ayers, can we use the Levitation Charm like this too?" Hermione preferred the Levitation Charm for flying broomsticks.

"With your current magic power, you shouldn't be able to cast such a levitation spell." This is the truth; this levitation spell requires magical power to support it.
