Chapter 3 The Home of the Sculptor
Chapter 3 The Home of the Sculptor
[Jin: Ding—Severus Snape, your target, prepare a sumptuous meal for him.]
Rewards: 300 Bond Points, 300 Experience Points, 20 Favorability Points, 1 Luck Point.
Nice! Headmaster Dumbledore really did a good thing this time. Although I have an extra sharp-tongued guardian, it makes my missions so much easier.
After changing clothes, I followed Severus Snape out of the hospital and Apparated into 19 Spider's End in a dark alley (this is the place I, as a Harry Potter fan, most wanted to go; it's Snape's old house!).
But before that, I need to vomit. My first Apparition experience felt like motion sickness, ugh~ (it was so uncomfortable).
"Have you finished throwing up?" Severus Snape seemed to have been prepared, as he was already a meter away from me when I started to vomit.
"Could you provide a better mode of transportation next time? This kind of magical travel is really unfriendly to a newbie like me." So what if it's the Sorcerer's Church? I'm not afraid, really, please believe me~
Language is the best way to communicate. I'm the kind of person who speaks my mind when I'm unhappy. I'm not one to suppress my feelings (indirectly speaking, I'm confrontational towards everyone and everything, including myself).
"As your professor, I must inform Mr. Hall that I have many matters to attend to today. Please refrain from wandering around in my private home. Your room is on the second floor, first room. Excuse me, and please remember to close the door." Severus Snape had no interest in dealing with the little monster this old honeypot had brought him. He still had a pile of potions to attend to, so he tossed off his robes and headed towards his potions room.

Woo~ (of a plant we often recognize)
(Jin, why didn't you tell your host that favorability points will be deducted?)
[Jin: Yes, host. Conquest missions are also for people, so of course they will decrease favorability. Unless the favorability exceeds 50, then it won't decrease.]
Whatever, whatever~ (Let's just give up)
I quietly closed the door and looked into the house. Once the door was closed, it was pitch black except for a kerosene lamp on the table and a sofa next to it.
He walked over and sat on the sofa, crossing his legs as he continued to survey the hall. In the darkness, his emerald eyes held a strange glint, and his enigmatic smile carried a hint of devilish mystery.
(I quite like this atmosphere; it's dark and quiet.)
The window is behind the sofa, and dark gray curtains block out all the light from outside. Directly in front is a fireplace, and extending from the fireplace are bookshelves all around, giving it the feel of a small library. In the far corner is a staircase leading to the second floor.
Next to the bookshelf on the stairs, there was a small passageway, which is where Professor Stuart just went in. It seems there's another room where he works inside.
There seems to be a kitchen to the left of the fireplace. I stood up and walked towards the kitchen. I wanted to see what was in the kitchen. I also had a task to cook a meal for Professor Stalin, but I didn't know if Professor Stalin had any ingredients.
I opened the door, and under the blinding white light, I squinted as I looked into the kitchen—it was completely empty.
For a moment I was stunned. There was absolutely nothing there, not even a pot or pan. I clutched my forehead, my veins throbbing.
I used to be a total homebody, but my kitchen wasn't as empty as this one. At least I cooked all my own meals. With such an empty kitchen, does this person just eat air?
Are you talking about cooking a grand meal, or are you just cooking air?
(Jin, urgent! If I go to Stoic to ask for ingredients and tools to cook, will he use his magic to kill me?)
[Jin: Host, as long as you have a point, you can convince people. I'm cheering you on!]
Alright, let me go see the room that Coach Stalin prepared for me first. After I see my room, I'll decide what to do next. I'll ask Coach Stalin to take me to buy ingredients and tools. It doesn't matter if Coach Stalin starves, but I don't want to go hungry. I'm a freeloader!
I walked to the small staircase in the corner and tiptoed upstairs. When I got up, I saw two rooms. It seemed that Coach Si had said my room was the first one.
I looked curiously toward the door to Professor Si's room; it was a very simple wooden door.
Hmm~ I definitely want to go inside and take a look when I have the chance. For now, let's check out my room first.
Opening the door, I saw a bed that was 1.8 meters long and 1.5 meters wide—it was so small!
Slytherin really likes dark green. Is dark green Slytherin's favorite color? I can accept the color scheme of this bed.
My old bed was always two meters by two meters. Who doesn't like a big bed where you can roll around everywhere? There was a desk with a table and chair next to it, and the front of the bed faced the bathroom. The wardrobe was right next to the entrance.
It's alright, nothing special. I have nothing now, so this is all I can do.
Open the wardrobe and see, it's completely empty.
Has the Stanfords forgotten that I need to eat and wear clothes? That's really great!
Helpless, he closed the door and headed toward the potions room of the cult.
