Chapter 145 Nightmare Doctor Strange, Utter Defeat
Chapter 145 Nightmare Doctor Strange, Utter Defeat
Stephen Strange's already greenish complexion turned even more unsightly.
Russell was right.
His abandonment of his duties as the Sorcerer Supreme and his use of dark magic to become the lord of the Nightmare Dimension angered the Vishanti.
Therefore, the Vishanti forbade the use of white magic.
but.
"Even without white magic, I am still the Sorcerer Supreme, and I can still defeat you!"
In response to Russell's sarcasm, Nightmare responded with a strange, cold voice.
He suddenly waved his hands, and several gray-green giant pythons emerged from his black robe, opening their blood-red mouths to bite Russell.
Faced with the giant python's sudden attack, Russell remained calm and composed.
With his right hand outstretched, a golden shield of Seraphin unfolded, blocking the giant serpent from entering.
Behind him, an avatar wielding the sacred sword of Vishanti stepped out.
The clone stepped forward, raised its sword, and cut the giant python in half at the waist before slowly dissipating.
"You say you're the Sorcerer Supreme and can defeat me, then prove it to me." Ideally, I'd like to learn a few of your skills.
"I'll prove it to you."
Nightmare gave a strange, cold laugh. Suddenly, a thick green mist surged out from behind him, engulfing him.
As the thick fog dissipated, the nightmare vanished from its spot.
"He escaped?"
"No, he's just moving the battlefield. He probably doesn't want to damage this place."
Russell explained, and a surge of shimmering white divine power erupted, engulfing everyone and leading them to catch up with the Nightmare Strange.
As Russell and Nightmare mysteriously departed, the distorted space of the Sanctuary returned to calm.
Golden magical fire flickered, and the portal opened.
A bald-headed sorcerer, dressed in a yellow robe and neither male nor female, emerged from the crowd.
"Stephen, sigh~"
With a long sigh, the yellow-robed mage stepped forward, holding an ancient book that emitted a holy light.
Crossing space, they catch up with the vanished nightmares, Strange and Russell.
The desert, a vast, empty desert with no end in sight.
A thick green fog emerged, and Nightmare Strange stepped out of it, standing still and waiting for Russell to arrive.
The next instant, a bright white light flashed, and Russell arrived with his tour group.
As the great battle was about to begin, another clone emerged from behind Russell and once again blindfolded Gwen.
"Russell, what are you doing?" Little Gwen protested, she was really enjoying watching the magical clash.
"The following scenes are not suitable for children."
On the desert, battered figures rose one after another.
These figures were twisted and had ferocious faces.
But upon closer inspection, it's not hard to see that these are all Stephen Strange.
Stephen Strange from various universes.
Some of Stephens conjured sharp blades in their hands, while others conjured whips.
Stephen, who conjured weapons, attacked Russell simultaneously.
Other Stephens would form hand seals and cast various spells to launch ranged attacks.
"It seems you have killed many versions of yourself from the multiverse and enslaved their souls."
With just one glance, Russell understood the principle behind Nightmare Strange's move.
Compared to the form of Ekron that creates clones, this move does not require the brain's processing power.
However, it's too insidious.
Russell opened his palm, and a shimmering white divine power continuously gathered.
With a sudden clench of his hands, divine power burst forth from between his fingers, transforming into streaks of lightning that swept away enemies from all directions.
The lightning struck like a spear piercing the heart, tearing through the souls of Stephens one by one.
The soulless bodies froze, slowly collapsing to the ground. The next moment, yellow sand surged, burying the bodies of Stephen and the others, and Russell released his hand from covering little Gwen's eyes.
"Stephen, if you don't have any other tricks up your sleeve, this game is over," Russell said listlessly.
He was a little disappointed with this Nightmare Oddity. He had thought that after being forbidden from using white magic, this Nightmare Oddity would be able to develop some useful spells on its own.
Unexpectedly, this nightmare was bizarre, lacking both the versatility of a mage's skills and the overwhelming energy attacks of a dimensional lord, only capable of playing some minor tricks.
"Don't get too excited," Nightmare retorted sharply.
Nightmare rose up strangely, and the bones, rotting flesh, and blood of Doctor Strange from various universes, which Russell had buried on the ground, all converged on him and entered his body.
As Nightmare grew, arms sprouted from its back, bursting forth and shooting towards Russell.
Russell remained silent, as if he should have continued to cover little Gwen's eyes.
After glancing at little Gwen and finding that she didn't seem scared or disgusted, Russell decided to just treat it like watching a horror movie.
Faced with the incoming arm, Russell did not counter it.
He was fed up.
With a flash, Russell bridged the distance between himself and Nightmare Strange, closing in directly and delivering a punch straight to Nightmare Strange's face.
The nightmare contracted violently and strangely. Wait, you're a Sorcerer Supreme, why are you always engaging in close-quarters combat?
Bang!
With one punch, Nightmare Strange was instantly reduced to smoke and dispersed.
No, it was Nightmare Strange that deliberately dispersed its body.
Upon seeing this, Russell's lips curled into a smile.
The last person to use this trick on him was a Blood God clone, which was directly devoured by his scattered energy.
Nightmare Strange is no exception.
With a thought, Russell felt a strange suction force around him.
Nightmare was greatly alarmed. His scattered body and soul suddenly became uncontrollable and were forced to move closer to Russell.
Then, the energy and the body were completely devoured, leaving only a lonely soul.
Russell transformed his fist into a claw and seized the strange, monstrous soul of the nightmare.
"They've spun their own cocoon and are now trapped!"
"It's not over yet!"
Although his soul had been captured, Nightmare Strange was still not giving up.
Suddenly, streaks of crimson lightning burst forth, attacking Russell.
But when the crimson lightning struck Russell, it caused no ripples and vanished without a trace.
"You're absorbing my energy? Then keep absorbing, and let's see how much you can take!"
Nightmare roared strangely, and terrifying energy suddenly erupted from its mouth and eyes, shooting towards Russell.
Russell sidestepped and kicked the Nightmare Strange Spirit, interrupting its energy release.
He disliked the energy that came out of his mouth.
"Where did you learn such a bad habit, releasing energy through your mouth? How disgusting!"
As he muttered to himself, Russell pierced directly through the Nightmare Strange Spirit with one hand.
The strange, nightmarish spirit was instantly spun and twisted, then sucked into Russell's luminous white space.
Nightmare, bizarre, utterly defeated!
Normally, the Nightmare Dimension is his domain, where he can draw upon massive amounts of energy for attacking, defending, and healing injuries.
He won't be completely defeated by Russell so quickly.
At least it could force Russell to use his [Energy Drain] talent before he would be instantly killed.
But Nightmare Oddity is not a normal dimensional lord.
He was originally a mage, and his time as a dimensional lord was very short.
After becoming the Dimensional Lord, he focused solely on how to resurrect Christine, neglecting the study of the dimension itself.
"Stephen won't die that easily."
Golden magical flames flickered, and a bald mage stepped out.
