On the Kuja Pirates' ship
These warriors from the Amazonian kingdom were all tall and beautiful, with firm, toned arms and legs, and eyes that exuded the unique valor and fierceness of Amazonian female warriors.
The navigator on the lookout squinted, and a few seconds later turned and shouted towards the figure in the center of the deck, "Lord Toritoma! A large naval warship has been spotted directly ahead!"
The woman, known as Toritoma, was leaning against the gunwale feeding her pet snake.
She had a head of fluffy, slightly wavy black hair, and her fiery red, tight-fitting outfit accentuated her curvaceous figure, bearing a resemblance to Empress Boa Hancock many years later.
She is the current captain of the Kuja Pirates and the former emperor of Amazon Lily, Hancock.
"Warships?" Toritoma looked up. "Sink them."
These words were like a spark falling into a powder keg. The surrounding female pirates instantly swarmed around them, each one eager to fight, their eyes gleaming with a warlike light.
"Lord Toritoma! Leave it to us!"
"Perfect for practicing!"
Amazon Lily, the base of the Kuja Pirates, is located in the deep sea in the Calm Belt.
That place is the lair of the Sea Kings, where countless behemoths, comparable in size to islands, roam and swim beneath the surface of the sea. It is a forbidden zone of death that neither the Navy nor the World Government dares to set foot in lightly.
Only the Kuja Pirates can use their generations-old, venomous sea snakes to intimidate Sea Kings and freely traverse this sea.
This is why these female warriors have never taken the navy's intimidation seriously.
However, before Toritoma could give the order to attack, an aged voice suddenly rang out: "No!"
The female pirates looked in the direction of the sound and saw an elderly woman, over fifty years old, slowly walking out of the cabin with a snake-shaped cane.
The former emperor of Amazon Lily, Gloriosa, who would later be known as "Grandma Za" by everyone.
"Lady Gloriosa?" Toritoma frowned, his tone carrying a hint of respect.
The current Gloriosa has long since abdicated, but the current emperor, Torituma, holds her in high esteem and has specially invited her to stay on the ship as an advisor.
The old man, leaning on his cane, slammed his hand heavily on the deck and said in a deep voice, "We have the calm seas as a natural barrier, so we don't need to fear the navy, but they are, after all, the most powerful force on this sea. We must not easily antagonize them unless absolutely necessary! Pass down the order: turn around and go around them!"
Compared to her successor Hancock's arrogance and domineering nature, Torituma's personality was much gentler and calmer.
After a moment's thought, she felt that Gloria's words made sense, so she nodded: "Alright, hard to starboard!"
The Kuja Pirates' ship was about to head in another direction.
Just then, the loudspeaker on the opposing naval warship suddenly blared:
"Hey pirate ship over there, stop right there! Lord Broly has urgent business with you!"
Torritoma frowned, muttering to himself, "Broly? That name... it sounds familiar?"
She stroked her chin thoughtfully. To be able to ride in a naval flagship with a capacity of a thousand people, one's rank must be at least a vice admiral or higher, right?
But when did such a person appear among the Navy Vice Admirals?
Just then, Gloriaosa began to tremble violently, then shakily pulled a crumpled bounty poster from her bosom and screamed:
"It's him! It's him!"
Toritoma rushed over, his face turning deathly pale when his gaze fell on the number on the bounty poster. "I completely forgot! But... but why is he on a navy warship?!"
For a moment, the Kuja Pirates' ship seemed to be put on pause, completely frozen on the sea.
They could only watch helplessly as the opposing warship slowly approached them.
When that small figure appeared at the bow of the warship, the entire Kuja Pirates crew, including Toritoma and Gloriosa, couldn't help but gasp.
Many female pirates covered their mouths in fright, their voices trembling as they whispered, "It really is him...it really is that monster with a bounty of 10 billion Berries..."
Just then, Gloria suddenly seemed to see something extremely terrifying. Her gaze fixed on the warship's mast, she exclaimed in shock, "Th-that's...the Five Elders?!"
The other female pirates followed her gaze and instantly gasped.
Three disheveled figures were found tied to the mast of the warship.
An elderly man with a curly white beard and wearing a black suit, a gaunt old man with a goatee, and a middle-aged man with a crescent-shaped hairstyle.
They were covered in blood, their clothes torn to shreds, the once luxurious fabrics now stained with mud and blood, their appearance utterly wretched.
Even more shockingly, their wounds were healing at a speed visible to the naked eye.
The wounds inflicted by the slaves with their knives scabbed over and fell off in moments, as if they had never existed. After all, the slaves' strength was limited, and these superficial injuries were nothing to the Five Elders, who possessed immortality.
Even so, the three of them kept their heads down, not uttering a word, not even daring to struggle, for fear of displeasing the devil and having him personally deal with them.
Gloriosa stared intently at Satan, who was bound in the center, her eyes filled with disbelief.
She looked at Broly at the bow of the ship, trembling. "Could it be... that your bounty skyrocketed to ten billion because you kidnapped the Five Elders?!"
Now, all the doubts were answered.
Kidnapping the Five Elders, the highest-ranking members of the World Government, is something even the Rocks Pirates couldn't do back in the day!
Gloria was able to recognize Satan because she had seen the Five Elders from afar during the God Valley battle twenty years ago, but at that time, she was not qualified to fight him at all.
Upon hearing this, Torituma and the other female pirates were instantly speechless with shock.
Kidnapping the Five Elders... Is there really anyone who can do something like that?
Broly, however, didn't bother to answer her question. His gaze casually swept across the Kuja Pirates' deck before he asked, "Isn't Hancock here?"
Broly never hides his desires.
Torritoma paused for a moment.
Hancock? That 9-year-old reserve crew member?
Because she was under twelve years old, the minimum age for a Kuja Pirates crew member, she wasn't taken on this voyage.
But Torituma was full of doubts. How could this monster with a bounty of 10 billion Berries know Hancock's name?
The child had never left the Amazon lily since birth and had never even seen the ocean.
Before Toritoma could figure it out, Gloriosa quickly stepped forward and interrupted her.
The old woman suppressed her fear, forced a smile, and said respectfully, "Sir Broly, Boa Hancock is not yet of age to go to sea. May I ask what brings you here?"
Halfway through her speech, she deliberately added a respectful title after Broly's name.
She dared not be the slightest bit negligent in the face of such a ruthless character who even dared to kidnap the Five Elders.
Upon hearing that Hancock was only a nine-year-old child, Broly immediately lost interest.
He waved his hand, indicating that he didn't mind, and then asked directly, "You should know how to navigate, right? I need to get to Water Seven, can you show me the way?"
Although Broly's words sounded like a question, how could the Kuja Pirates dare to refuse?
The current emperor, Torritoma, nodded almost instinctively and hurriedly replied, "Of course!"
As soon as she finished speaking, Gloriosa subtly tugged at the hem of Toritoma's skirt, gesturing for her to come closer.
Toritoma immediately understood, bent down, and put his ear close to the old man's mouth.
Gloria whispered in her ear, in a voice only the two of them could hear, "I don't know if he's willing, but he just asked about Hancock, so he's obviously a little interested in her."
"You lead the main force and show them the way. I'll take a small group back to Amazon Lily and bring Hancock back."
She paused, a shrewd glint in her eyes: "Being able to establish a connection with a ruthless character like Broly is a win-win situation for our Kuja Pirates and for the entire Amazon Lily."
Upon hearing this, Torituma suddenly realized what was going on, and his gaze toward Gloriosa held a newfound respect.
Sure enough, the old hand who survived the bloody battle at God Valley knows how to handle people.
