Upon seeing them, the monster immediately launched an attack. It opened its gaping maw and spewed out a plume of black smoke. The smoke emitted a pungent odor that made them feel dizzy.
Ye Dingzhi hurriedly circulated his inner energy to resist the erosion of the smoke. Other experts also took measures to protect themselves from the smoke's effects.
"Everyone be careful, this smoke is poisonous!" Ye Dingzhi shouted.
The monster didn't give them much time to react; it took huge strides and charged towards them. Each step made the ground tremble, as if an earthquake had struck.
Ye Dingzhi and the others hurriedly dodged the monster's attacks. The monster's claws were extremely sharp and could easily tear through hard rocks.
"Your Majesty, this monster is too difficult to deal with!" a master shouted.
Ye Dingzhi gritted his teeth: "Don't panic, let's attack its weaknesses together."
They began to observe the monster's attack patterns, searching for its weaknesses. After some observation, they discovered that the monster would briefly close its eyes when it attacked.
Ye Dingzhi decided to seize this opportunity. He deliberately created an opening to lure the monster into attacking. The monster fell for it, lunging at Ye Dingzhi. Ye Dingzhi dodged the attack, simultaneously thrusting his demonic sword towards the monster's eye.
The monster's eye was pierced, and it let out a painful roar. It writhed wildly, trying to break free from the demonic sword's hold.
Ye Dingzhi gripped the demon sword tightly and twisted it forcefully, shattering the monster's eyes.
The monster's attack power was immediately weakened, but it still did not give up. It waved its claws and continued to attack Ye Dingzhi and the others.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, Ye Dingzhi and the others launched another attack, their weapons relentlessly thrusting into the monster's body. Although the monster's body was tough, it began to show wounds under their continuous assault.
After a fierce battle, the monster finally collapsed to the ground, lifeless.
"We did it!" someone exclaimed excitedly.
Ye Dingzhi breathed a sigh of relief: "This is just the first test; there may be even more difficult challenges ahead. We cannot let our guard down."
They continued on their way, and soon encountered another problem. They came to a wide river with a rapid current, making it impossible to cross directly.
"What should we do? How can we cross the river?" someone asked.
Ye Dingzhi observed the river, pondering a solution. Suddenly, he noticed some enormous trees along the riverbank.
“We can use these trees to make a raft and then paddle across,” Ye Dingzhi said.
Everyone nodded in agreement, and they began to build the raft. After much effort, they finally created a sturdy raft.
They boarded the raft and began paddling towards the other side. The river current was very rapid, and the raft rocked precariously in the water, making it feel quite dangerous.
"Everyone be careful and keep your balance," Ye Dingzhi shouted.
They rowed the raft with great effort and finally succeeded in reaching the other side.
After landing, they continued onward. After walking for a while, they came to a huge maze. The walls of the maze soared into the clouds, inspiring awe and fear.
"This maze looks very complicated. How can we get out?" someone asked.
Ye Dingzhi frowned, thinking of a solution. Suddenly, an idea came to him.
“We can make marks on the walls of the maze so we won’t get lost,” Ye Dingzhi said.
The spirits nodded in agreement, and they began to mark the walls of the maze. They carefully entered the maze, making a mark every so often.
In the maze, they encountered many forks in the road and traps. Once, they accidentally walked into a trap filled with sharp spikes.
"Watch out!" Ye Dingzhi shouted.
The crowd hurriedly dodged, but several people were still stabbed. They quickly took out medicine to treat the wounds.
"This maze is too dangerous; we need to be extra careful," Ye Dingzhi said.
They continued exploring the maze and finally found the right path. They exited the maze and arrived at a plaza.
There is a huge stone tablet in the square, covered with mysterious characters.
"What does the inscription on this stone tablet mean?" someone asked.
Ye Dingzhi stepped forward and carefully examined the inscriptions on the stone tablet. After some study, he finally understood the meaning of the inscription.
"The inscription on the stone tablet says that we have passed the previous tests and now we face the final one. This test is wisdom. We need to solve a puzzle to find the exit and leave this illusion," Ye Dingzhi said.
The group exchanged bewildered glances, their hearts filled with tension. They knew this riddle must be extremely difficult.
Ye Dingzhi stared at the riddle on the stone tablet, lost in thought. The riddle was: "What has five heads, yet people don't find it strange?"
They began to ponder the answer to this puzzle. Various guesses were offered, but none were correct.
Time ticked by, and they still hadn't found the answer. Everyone was starting to get anxious.
"Your Majesty, what should we do? Time is running out," a master said.
Ye Dingzhi frowned, continuing to ponder. Suddenly, an idea flashed through his mind.
"I know the answer!" Ye Dingzhi said excitedly.
Everyone hurriedly asked, "What is it?"
Ye Dingzhi said, "The answer is the hand. Because a human hand has five fingers, it has five heads, but people don't find it strange."
After saying this, Ye Dingzhi walked to the stone tablet and gave the answer. Suddenly, a strong light emanated from the stone tablet, and an exit appeared within the light.
"We did it!" everyone exclaimed excitedly.
They hurried toward the exit and finally left the illusion.
When they returned to the real world, they found themselves still in the mysterious garden. The fairies were all surprised to see them back.
"You actually emerged from the illusion? It seems you are quite powerful," said one of the elves.
Ye Dingzhi smiled and said, "Thanks to everyone's hard work, can we leave now?"
The elves nodded: "You may leave now. We hope you will not trespass into our garden again."
After leaving the garden, Ye Dingzhi and the others continued their exploration of the mysterious island. Their hearts were filled with curiosity and vigilance towards the unknown, for they knew that the island harbored many dangers and secrets.
"Your Majesty, which direction should we go next?" a master asked.
Ye Dingzhi frowned slightly, pondered for a moment, and then said, "Let's walk along the coastline first and see if we can find any clues."
Everyone nodded in agreement, and they began their journey along the coastline. Along the way, they saw many beautiful sights, but remained constantly vigilant in case any danger suddenly arose.
After walking for a while, they came to a small bay. The water in the bay was crystal clear, and the beach was covered with all kinds of beautiful seashells.
"This place is so beautiful!" someone exclaimed.
Ye Dingzhi remained vigilant, carefully observing his surroundings, and said, "Everyone, don't let your guard down; there might be danger here."
Just as they were admiring the scenery, a group of strange creatures suddenly emerged from the sea. These creatures looked like octopuses, but had sharp teeth and claws.
"What kind of monster is this?" someone asked in terror.
Ye Dingzhi drew his demonic sword, ready to fight. "No matter what it is, we cannot back down."
The monsters charged towards them rapidly, emitting strange cries. Ye Dingzhi and the others grabbed their weapons and engaged in a fierce battle with the monsters.
Ye Dingzhi brandished his demonic sword, slashing at a monster. The monster extended tentacles, attempting to entangle Ye Dingzhi. Ye Dingzhi nimbly dodged the tentacles' attacks while continuously slashing at the monster with his demonic sword.
"Your strength is not bad, but you still can't stop us," the monster said in a low voice.
Ye Dingzhi sneered: "Then let's see how it goes."
He circulated his inner energy, and the demonic sword gleamed with dazzling light. Ye Ding slashed down with his sword, severing the monster's tentacles. The monster let out a painful scream and writhed wildly.
Other skilled fighters were also engaged in fierce battles with the monsters. A master archer continuously fired arrows, shooting down the approaching monsters one by one.
"Hmph, these monsters are nothing special," the expert said.
However, as the number of monsters increased, they gradually began to feel the strain.
"Your Majesty, this can't go on!" a master shouted.
Ye Dingzhi frowned, pondering a solution. Suddenly, he noticed that these monsters seemed to be afraid of fire.
"Everyone, light up the surroundings with torches and see if we can scare these monsters away," Ye Dingzhi said.
Everyone took out torches and lit up the surroundings. As expected, the monsters began to retreat under the firelight.
"It seems these monsters are afraid of fire," Ye Dingzhi said.

They boarded the raft and began rowing towards the opposite bank. The river's current was extremely swift, causing the raft to rock precariously, making it feel very dangerous.
"Everyone be careful and keep your balance," Ye Dingzhi shouted.
They rowed the raft with great effort and finally succeeded in reaching the other side.
After reaching the shore, they continued on their way. After walking for a while, they came to a huge maze. The walls of the maze soared into the clouds, inspiring awe and fear.

Ye Dingzhi said, "The answer is a monster. Because the monster has four eyes, but it can't see anything."
After saying this, Ye Dingzhi walked to the stone tablet and gave the answer. Suddenly, a strong light emanated from the stone tablet, and a map appeared within the light.
"This is a map to the treasure!" someone exclaimed excitedly.
Ye Dingzhi picked up the map and studied it carefully. The map marked the location of the treasure, but to get there, he would have to pass through some dangerous places.
“Let’s follow the map to find the treasure,” Ye Dingzhi said.
Everyone nodded in agreement, and they began to proceed according to the map's directions. Along the way, they encountered many difficulties and dangers, but they never gave up.
Finally, they arrived at the location of the treasure. It was a huge cave, filled with a mysterious light.
"Is this where the treasure is?" someone asked.
