Jinbe did not answer immediately, and Whitebeard invited them over, but his true intentions remained unknown.
Marco wasn't in a hurry. He rested his chin on his hand and looked at Jinbe with a leisurely air.
Jinbe thought for a moment and then asked, "The Whitebeard Pirates are renowned. May I ask what brings you here?"
Marco shrugged and laughed, "I don't know about that, but you can rest assured, we mean no harm."
Jinbe hesitated for a moment, then nodded: "Since you have extended such a warm invitation, it would be ungrateful of me to refuse."
Marco raised the corners of his mouth slightly. "Then please."
As soon as he finished speaking, Marco transformed into a phoenix, flapping his wings and flying towards the "Moby Dick".
Jinbe sighed and said to the helmsmen, "Keep up."
The helmsman nodded: "Okay."
Soon, their pirate ship arrived in front of the enormous "Moby Dick".
Jinbe said to Aladdin, "Wait here, I'll be back soon."
Aladdin hesitated for a moment, then finally simply said, "Okay."
Jinbe arrived alone on the "Moby Dick". As soon as he stepped onto the deck, he saw Whitebeard sitting in the main seat, exuding an imposing aura.
On either side of the deck stood the captains of the Whitebeard Pirates.
Jinbe took the initiative to greet him: "Captain Whitebeard, hello. May I ask what brings you here?"
Whitebeard let out a hearty laugh: "Gurarararar... Your name is Jinbe, right?"
Jinbe nodded: "Yes."
Seeing Jinbe's tense expression, Whitebeard burst into laughter again: "Don't be nervous. Speaking of which, I'm actually good friends with Neptune, the king of your Fishman Island."
Jinbe shook his head in denial, "I wasn't nervous."
He's a member of the Pirate King's crew now, so he's not afraid of the mere Four Emperors.
Whitebeard didn't dwell on the issue; instead, he turned and instructed his children to bring up the wine.
Soon, a bowl full of sake was placed in front of Whitebeard and Jinbe.
The white-bearded man picked up his wine bowl and laughed:
"Gurarararar... Little brat from Fishman Island, try some of my treasured wine."
"This wine was a gift from the Beasts Pirates; you can't get it anywhere else."
After saying that, the white-bearded man brought the bowl to his lips, took a sip, and then smacked his lips in satisfaction.
Jinbe also picked up his wine bowl and took a sip of the Beasts Pirates' fine wine.
The spicy liquor flowed down my throat, yet it carried a unique mellowness.
Jinbe couldn't help but exclaim, "It's truly excellent sake!"
The white-bearded man laughed loudly: "Gurarararar...of course."
After a pause, Whitebeard asked casually, "How is Fishman Island now?"
Speaking of his hometown, Jinbe couldn't help but smile: "It's great. Ever since we hung up the Beasts Pirates' skull and crossbones flag, pirates and human traffickers haven't dared to capture my compatriots on the island."
"That's good, that's good." The white-bearded man nodded with a smile, then took another sip of wine.
He has a good relationship with Kaido and is also friends with Neptune. He really doesn't want to hear that the Beasts Pirates are oppressing Fishman Island.
Looking at Jinbe's youthful face and sensing his powerful aura, Whitebeard suddenly extended an invitation: "Jinbe, would you like to join the Whitebeard Pirates?"
Jinbe shook his head without hesitation and refused: "Sorry."
Whitebeard did not give up. Instead, he stretched out his large hand and revealed a kind smile: "Then... become my son!"
Jinbe was stunned.
I've heard that Whitebeard liked to take in sons, but this is the first time we've met!
The white-bearded man's smile remained as kind as ever, and he asked again, "How is it?"
Before Jinbe could answer, a furious roar suddenly exploded in the sky: "Whitebeard!"
Immediately afterwards, a pillar of fire, like a roaring fire dragon, scorched the air and roared toward the "Moby Dick".
The white-bearded man grinned, a milky-white halo covering his fist, and threw a punch.
The air pressure seemed to shatter as if punched, producing a sound like breaking glass.
The pillar of fire and the power of the earthquake collided violently, the two forces intertwined and tore at each other, neither giving way.
The massive energy collision generated a powerful shockwave that scorched the air, causing the ocean to surge and the enormous "Moby Dick" to bob and sway violently on the surface.
Jinbe looked up at the sky and saw the winding, dark dragon that blotted out the sun. He knew exactly who had come.
Kaido, captain of the Beasts Pirates.
Of course, he is also his captain now.
This was the first time he had met his captain; he had always met with his first mate, Raylo.
I just don't know why the captain suddenly attacked Whitebeard. Is he going to start a war?
On the deck, the Whitebeard captains were able to keep their balance, but some ordinary crew members were swaying and could only hold on tightly to something sturdy on the ship to avoid being overturned.
Seeing this, Whitebeard cursed angrily, "Kaido, you bastard, are you trying to capsize my ship?"
Kaido snorted coldly: "It's not my ship, so what if it sinks?"
Despite saying that, Kaido withdrew his attack, transformed into human form, and swooped down from the clouds.
"That damn thing." Whitebeard cursed again, then turned to his child and ordered, "Marco, go and prepare another bowl, and bring another vat of wine."
Kaido's massive body quickly landed on the deck of the "Moby Dick" and stood in front of Whitebeard and Jin.
Jinbe immediately greeted him respectfully, "Captain."
"Ah." Kaido nodded.
He immediately turned to Whitebeard and cursed, "Newgate, you bastard, how dare you set your sights on our Beasts Pirates!"
Whitebeard gave a helpless laugh:
"You can't blame me for this. The Fishman Pirates haven't mentioned your Beasts Pirates since they set sail."
"If he hadn't just called out 'Captain,' I wouldn't have known they were actually members of your Beasts Pirates."
Kaido said matter-of-factly, "Fishman Island is the territory of our Beasts Pirates, so the Fishman Pirates are naturally our affiliated pirate crew."
Whitebeard frowned and retorted, "Stop acting like a scoundrel here. Fishman Island is Fishman Island, and the Fishman Pirates are the Fishman Pirates. They are two different things."
What Whitebeard said was true.
It's like he has quite a bit of territory, but the people who go out to become pirates in that territory don't belong to his command.
Kaido actually knew that this was the logic, but he was still clearly a little unhappy.
So he strode over to a small, chubby black boy on the deck, stretched out his hand, grinned, and said, "Become my son!"
Chapter 256 They are all children of the sea
"Me...me?"
Little Teach, big shock.
Not only him, but everyone on deck, from Jinbe to the captain and the crew, was completely stunned.
What on earth is this guy thinking?!
Kaido nodded very seriously: "That's right, it's you. Be my son!"
Whitebeard was furious!
What's the difference between this and a minotaur in person?!
"Kaido! What the hell do you want, you bastard?!" Whitebeard cursed.
When Kaido heard Whitebeard insult him, he didn't get angry at all; instead, he laughed even more wickedly.
That's just how people are; when they do bad things and their friends scold them, they only feel a sense of satisfaction.
However, Kaido did not back down because of this, and still stretched out his hand, waiting for Teach's answer.
Moreover, he discovered that the little chubby guy's face... looked a lot like someone!
Coincidence or...?!
After realizing what had happened, Teach scratched his head sheepishly and said somewhat embarrassedly:
"Thank you for your kindness, but I'm sorry."
"I'm a member of the Whitebeard Pirates, I'm the father of the Whitebeard Pirates, I will not join any other pirate crew."
Upon hearing this, Whitebeard smiled knowingly, and his sons cheered for Teach.
"Well said, Teach."
"We are Dad's children."
"That's right, that's right, we're family."
"Long live the Whitebeard Pirates!"
......
Hearing his companions cheering, Teach cursed inwardly, "These idiots."
Does he not want to join?
The Beasts Pirates are much stronger than the Whitebeard Pirates, and they have a much higher chance of obtaining the Dark-Dark Fruit!
Moreover, after the Battle of the Great Swamp, he regarded the Beasts Pirates, who slaughtered the Celestial Dragons, as his idols!
But he cannot join!
The Beasts Pirates are too powerful, and too insane!
Although the chances of obtaining the Dark-Dark Fruit by staying with the Whitebeard Pirates are not as high as those with the Beasts Pirates, he still has some room to maneuver with this group of "family".
And this guy in front of me is obviously joking.
He hasn't shown anything outstanding yet; this guy is just trying to annoy Whitebeard.
Kaido said nothing more and turned to leave.
He just wanted to annoy the white-bearded man; he didn't really want to adopt this chubby little black guy as his son.
He doesn't have the habit of taking in children like Whitebeard, and the Beasts Pirates don't lack children.
He had a daughter, Rhelo had several children and an adopted son, and Elbaf brought back the giant prince Loki.
Kaido sat down next to Whitebeard again, and Marco brought over some sake and a bowl.
After Marco put down the wine, Whitebeard waved his hand and ordered, "Marco, don't just stand around. Tell the kitchen to prepare some food, and then we can all eat and drink together."
"Okay, Dad."
Marco nodded, accepted the order, and soon the deck was filled with a sumptuous feast.
The white-bearded children sat together, arms around each other, laughing and chatting, creating a lively atmosphere.
Teach ate his cherry pie, his face always bearing that same honest, harmless smile.
Kaido, Whitebeard, and Jinbe, the three captains, sat together.
Jinbe picked up the sake jar, first filled a bowl for Kaido, then filled one for Whitebeard, and finally poured one for himself.
Kaido didn't stand on ceremony, picked up the bowl and took a swig. The wine dripped down his chin. He wiped his mouth and laughed, "Our Beasts' wine is still the best. I didn't expect that after so long, Newgate, you still have some left."
Whitebeard also picked up his wine bowl and said, "Since you know I don't have much left, when will you send me some more?"
"What are you thinking? I don't even have enough to drink myself." Kaido refused without even thinking.
Whitebeard snorted, "Look how stingy you are."
Kaido ignored it.
Everything else is negotiable, but not alcohol.
