Harry Potter: This senior is pretty strong

Chapter 154 Former Match Commentator

Chapter 154 Former Match Commentator

"Ouch, who hit me?!" Ron exclaimed.

With the match about to begin, he was sitting comfortably in the stands, waiting to cheer on his good friend Harry Potter, when suddenly someone hit him on the head, not too hard, not too soft.

This startled him so much that he almost fell off his chair.

Yes, it's commonly known as "dropping the stool".

After shouting, Ron stood up angrily, turned around, and saw a face that was both incredibly familiar and impossible to anger. The owner of that face raised his chin at him as he looked over, his expression full of provocation.

Because they had spent an "unforgettable" summer together, Ron had an indelible psychological trauma regarding this face—even though the face wasn't ugly.

And so, he fell silent instantly.

"Mong, Mongni, why did you hit me for no reason?" Ron protested in a low voice, trying to remain calm.

This person was none other than his cousin, Mona Wanda, who was now a fourth-year student at Ravenclaw.

“What do you mean I hit you, my dear cousin Ronnie?! This is how I express my enthusiasm! How could you say that to me? I’m so hurt!” Monnie said dramatically, pressing her right hand to her chest.

It was as if Ron had truly hurt her fragile, young heart.

Weird!

Ron screamed inwardly.

You clearly tried to hit me on purpose. Do you really think I don't know what kind of person you are?!

However, he dared not say this aloud, otherwise who knows what other dramatic or brutal things Moni might do.

Fortunately, the beating didn't hurt much; it was only slightly worse than a tickle. There was no need for me to make a fuss about it...

After giving himself a pep talk and calming himself down, Ron said to his cousin, "I hope next time you greet me, you won't be pointing at my head."

"Oh my, little Ronnie, you're so fierce!" Monnie said, feigning surprise, while reaching out her devilish hand to ruffle Ron's hair into a messy ball.

"What are you doing here?! Go back to your Ravenclaw!"

Ron was annoyed. He scribbled his hair back down, sullenly sat back down in his seat, and didn't want to say another word.

"Mind your own business!"

Monnie had no intention of going back. Instead, she sat behind Ron, squeezed in next to a petite second-year girl, and helped her hold up the banner that spanned ten seats.

"My name is Moni, nice to meet you!" My older cousin greeted the girl with a smile.

"My name is Jona, and it's nice to meet you!" The girl smiled shyly and introduced herself.

“I’m from Ravenclaw, and it’s so much better here. I can cheer for Qin openly! It’s just that when I go back, I’ll probably have to deal with their sarcastic remarks again,” Monnie said with a sigh.

Those classmates were simply mocking her for interfering with the Sorting Hat's judgment in her first year, which led to her being mistakenly sorted into Ravenclaw instead of Gryffindor.

Slightly!

Monnie wouldn't let these rumors hold her back.

"Hehe, I'm actually a little guilty because I'm Katie Bell's roommate, but... well, you know, Qin is the best!" Jona felt guilty for "betraying" her roommate, but obviously not much.

After they finished speaking, they looked at each other and smiled, realizing they had much in common.

Just as they were about to continue their conversation, deafening cheers erupted from all directions in the stands.

Without a doubt, they all looked towards the field, where a team wearing red and green jerseys marched in with synchronized steps.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Hooch, acting as the referee, flew to the center of the field on a flying broomstick. A gentle breeze blew her robes and gray hair, making her look incredibly dashing.

"Gryffindor will prevail!"

"Go Slytherin!"

The match began amidst increasingly loud cheers from the audience on both sides!

……

"...Now the Quaffle is on Gryffindor's side... Arya Spinnet, after receiving the ball, quickly dashes over the obstacle and, before the Slytherin side can react, passes it to Angelina Johnson diagonally above... I must say, Angelina is truly an excellent and beautiful girl, cough, I mean, an excellent and athletic Chaser... Oh no, the Slytherin batter has interfered..."

A fierce match was taking place on the field, and in the commentary box in the center of the stands, a third-grade boy was giving a passionate commentary.

Mona Wanda, a short-haired girl with chestnut hair sitting in the Gryffindor viewing area, kept complaining while listening to the commentary:

"What kind of commentary is this Lee Jordan giving? He's nowhere near as good as Linda and me last year. I don't know what Professor McGonagall was thinking, replacing us with this mediocre commentator. It's so unfair, so unfair!"

Besides feeling that the opponent was not good enough, Moni's biggest complaint was that she couldn't watch the game from the commentary box. The view from there was really good, unlike the regular stands where you have to use binoculars to see the players' movements, making it hard to have that immersive feeling.

This is what she finds most unbearable.

“Well, your commentary last year was indeed excellent, but I think it was precisely because it was too ‘excellent’ that Professor McGonagall didn’t let you continue in this position,” Jona said tactfully and with a double meaning.

Jona was referring to the first match Qin Yu participated in, which was also a Gryffindor vs. Slytherin duel.

In that match, at the behest of her two cousins, George and Fred, Monnie started by mocking Gryffindor to lull Slytherin into a false sense of security, allowing Qin Yu and his team to take the initiative, seize control of the match, and utterly defeat Slytherin.

Moni continued to spout witty remarks during the subsequent commentary, and even her partner Linda Ju's best efforts to salvage the situation couldn't stop her from making a comeback.

It's fair to say that she was absolutely right to be fired by Professor McGonagall.

"Hmph, Quidditch commentary should be unconventional, otherwise how can the excitement of the game be shown? Professor McGonagall is too rigid..." Monnie muttered under her breath.

She dared not openly criticize Professor McGonagall, who was the Vice-Headmaster of Hogwarts and the Headmaster of Gryffindor House. She was currently surrounded by Gryffindor students, and if she were torn apart by the righteous little lions, she would have no one to reason with.

"Huh? What did you say?" It was too noisy around, and Jona couldn't hear what the young lady was muttering.

"It's nothing, it's nothing. I just think that Marcus Flint is really despicable. He just takes advantage of his strength and physique to run people over!" Monnie said indignantly.

“Yeah! And their batter was just focused on Katie and Aria. Katie almost got hit, but thank goodness Qin intervened in time! Qin was so cool, wasn’t he?” Jona said excitedly.

“Ah…yes, yes, yes!” Moni chimed in.

She didn't want to admit that she had been distracted and hadn't seen how Qin made his move at all.

Okay, I'll stop thinking about why Professor McGonagall disliked me. Since things have come to this, I'll just have to make do and watch the game from the regular stands.

As her attention returned to the arena, Moni noticed that Qin didn't seem to be attacking very aggressively; instead, he appeared to be leisurely patrolling the sky like he was riding a flying broomstick.

Merlin once said: When something is unusual, there must be something wrong behind it.

Thinking of this, Moni looked around and, with the composure of a seasoned Quidditch fan, analyzed Qin's intentions.
