Chapter 177: Peach Between the Hand and the Pillar.
Chapter 177: Peach Between the Hand and the Pillar.
A few days later, Madara Uchiha and Izuna returned.
Both were badly injured, and both Uchiha Madara and Uchiha Izuna had awakened their Sharingan.
Wanci's eyes widened in surprise.
Does catching a thief automatically activate your Sharingan?
What kind of fragile-hearted Uchiha is this?
"Great-grandfather, I have accomplished my mission. Fortunately, I had the help of the ANBU leader. Otherwise, Izuna and I would probably have..."
Madara Uchiha handed over the task, kneeling on one knee as he spoke.
Wanci frowned slightly; this shouldn't be happening.
Madara Uchiha may be young, but he shouldn't be unable to handle even a thief.
"Are thieves very strong?" Wanci asked.
Izuna, his face bruised and contorted with rage, exclaimed, "Great-Grandpa, those weren't thieves at all, they were Senju ninjas!"
Upon hearing this, Wan Ci immediately understood. He nodded and stepped forward to comfort them, saying, "You two have worked hard." With that, Wan Ci unleashed a palm-based healing technique, which healed the two of them.
The two looked at Wanci's hand in surprise.
"Grandpa, what's this?"
Madara Uchiha was slightly surprised.
Wan nodded slightly: "I invented a technique, which I will popularize later."
"You did a great job, but due to unforeseen circumstances, the B-level mission has been upgraded to A-level!"
Wan Ci directly announced.
A hint of joy flashed in Madara and Izuna's eyes, and they immediately nodded. Then, Manji gestured for them to go downstairs.
When only Wanci was in the office.
"It seems there's been some trouble on the Senju side..."
"Some people are actually stealing to make a living..."
A smile ten thousand times.
This was within my expectations.
Konoha Village monopolized missions in the Land of Fire, and even several major and minor neighboring countries came to Konoha for help.
The missions were monopolized by Konoha.
Then other ninja clans won't be able to receive missions.
How do they make a living?
So the Senju clan decided to disguise themselves as thieves and go out to plunder food and money.
"The Senju and other major ninja clans are getting restless. They hope the Senju will come to surrender willingly, rather than wanting to destroy Konoha..."
Wan Ci said calmly.
"If they want to form an alliance and attack Konoha, then they can't blame me..."
As he spoke, Wanci made a sweeping gesture.

The Senju Clan
The atmosphere was somber, not at all like that of a prominent family.
"Sigh... The Senju clan has fallen to such a state, why does Father still insist on refusing to join Konoha?"
Hashirama Senju stood under the eaves, his fingers clenched into a tight fist, knuckles turning white: "So many years have passed, and everything has proven that Konoha was not a conspiracy. What is Father so stubbornly clinging to?"
Along the way, the people of the clan barely made ends meet, and even getting enough to eat became a luxury. However, the father, as the head of the clan, still clung to his obsession, causing the entire clan to suffer.
Several elders in the clan were particularly stubborn and refused to listen to reason.
"My father and the elders know that joining Konoha can help the entire clan escape its predicament."
"But they can't let go of the power they hold."
"Once they join Konoha, their status will plummet, and they will no longer be able to act arbitrarily. They will have to obey the orders of Konoha's Grand Elder, Manji."
Tobirama Senju, standing to the side, spoke calmly, his gaze clearly seeing through the crux of the matter.
So many years have passed, and the original intention of Konoha Village in its founding is now widely known.
The Uchiha genuinely wanted to create a stable ninja village; it was not a feigned trap.
But it was precisely this obvious benefit that couldn't stop the elders' greed for power.
"hateful!"
Hashirama Senju abruptly raised his eyes, his gaze filled with anger and heartache: "For their own selfish gain, for that little bit of power, they actually let their clansmen starve!"
Over the years, Hashirama's relationship with his father had long since reached a freezing point.
The father and son had conflicting beliefs, and every argument ended badly; the father never treated him as a son.
"Brother, calm down."
Tobirama Senju reached out and gently pressed Hashirama's shoulder, his tone tinged with helplessness: "You know your father's temper best. Last time, you just casually mentioned surrendering to Konoha, and he flew into a rage."
"In his eyes, we were never family, but only clansmen and chiefs."
"well...."
Hashirama Senju took a deep breath, his tense shoulders slowly slumped, and he finally loosened his fists weakly: "I know... Tobirama, I know everything."
Before he could finish speaking, two figures rushed out of the alleyway; they were Senju Watama and Senju Itama.
These two did not die because of the ten thousand times.
The two men, panting heavily and with anxious expressions, said, "Brother! Father is looking for you; it's urgent!"
A hint of doubt flashed in Hashirama Senju's eyes. Suppressing his annoyance, he nodded and replied, "I understand. I'll go right away."

The atmosphere inside the Thousand Hands Council Hall was even more somber.
A clansman rushed in, hurriedly reporting, "Clan leader! Elders! The clansmen we sent to disguise themselves as bandits and steal food have been killed by Konoha!"
"Bang!"
Thousand-Handed Buddha slammed his fist on the table, and the mahogany tabletop cracked and shattered!
"Damn Konoha! They're trying to cut off the Senju's livelihood, completely stealing our food supply!"
"Thousand-Handed Buddha!" roared.
Over the years, Konoha has monopolized all the commissions from the Land of Fire with its well-established mission system. The Senju clan has not received even a single mission and has long since lost its source of livelihood.
Butsuma had personally sought help from the Daimyo of the Land of Fire, but the Daimyo had long been in cahoots with Konoha, and his words blocked his path.
Do you know how much tax Konoha pays to the Land of Fire every year?
"Konoha is the strongest backer of my Land of Fire. How could I possibly help you target Konoha?"
His name is still vivid in my mind.
Simply put: Konoha is my top supporter, my sugar daddy, and my father!
You're a freeloader, I'm already being kind by letting you stay in the Land of Fire.
"Chieftain, the clan's supplies are already depleted, and we have to tighten our belts..."
One of the tribesmen hung his head, his voice bitter and helpless.
"bitter?"
An elder slammed his hand on the table, his voice cold and grating.
"Our clansmen are suffering, but we absolutely cannot fall into Konoha's sugar-coated trap! If we do, we'll have to obey the Uchiha, and what will become of the Senju clan's centuries-old reputation?"
"That's right! I'd rather die than submit to the Uchiha!"
Another elder echoed this sentiment.
"Konoha appears to be offering benefits to our clansmen, but in reality, they want to annex the Senju clan! Joining Konoha will bring stability to our clansmen, but what about us elders?"
"We've fought the Uchiha our whole lives, are we just going to bow down and obey their orders?"
These words instantly won the unanimous approval of all the elders.
They knew better than anyone the benefits of joining Konoha, but whether their clansmen were good or bad was never their biggest concern—they only cared about their own power and status, about the dominance of the Senju clan, and absolutely could not allow it to fall into the hands of the Uchiha.
Senju Butsuma, panting heavily and suppressing his anger, suddenly spoke: "My eldest son awakened his bloodline limit last year and can control Wood Release."
"Why not let him do wood-style craftsmanship to support the clan?"
The Buddha's words were met with approval from the crowd.
"Oh dear, I'm so hungry from all the discussions. I want to eat venison and tuna today, and some sake from the capital of the Land of Fire."
"It is a deep voice," said the Thousand-Handed Buddha.
This statement was also agreed upon by the elders.
"Yes, yes, I can smell the wine!"
"Oh dear, we shouldn't suffer as much as anyone else!"
"Bang--!"
A loud bang suddenly rang out, and the wooden door of the council chamber was kicked open from the outside.
Hashirama Senju stood at the doorway, his clothes slightly disheveled, his eyes burning with suppressed rage. He stared intently at his father and the elders in the hall, and said, word by word:
"That's enough!"
