Lin Xi wanted to test whether Charizard's Dragon Pulse could offset the bonus from the Mega Launcher.
Mega Blastoise sprouted two miniature cannons from its arms, which, together with the giant cannon on its back, emitted three beams of light of different colors. These beams merged and transformed in the air into a giant dragon phantom, shattering Charizard's Dragon Pulse. It then bit Charizard, which slammed down onto the ground.
