Harry Potter: Miss Malfoy

Chapter 143 The Dark Mark

Chapter 143 The Dark Mark

Harry and Ron were still awake when the riot happened.

Both of them felt a little awkward.

I feel embarrassed to talk too much about what happened in the cabin, but I also want to share a night of joy with my best friend.

They chatted idly until Mr. Weasley called them over.

The Death Eaters' riots in the camp became increasingly uncontrollable.

Mr. Weasley explained hastily that he and Charlie had to help the Ministry officials maintain order.

Bill had already joined the volunteers assisting with the evacuation.

Under Mr. Weasley's instructions, the twins took their little sister and ran into the woods.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione also hurried into the woods.

As the crowd rushed forward, many figures were either bumped into or tripped to the ground, wailing in the dark as if they were being unintentionally trampled upon.

"Where the hell are Fred, George, and Ginny?"

"They'll be fine, Hermione!"

"Let's make sure we don't get knocked down and trampled to death first."

Ron roared at a disappearing shadow.

He had just hurriedly grabbed Hermione to help her avoid the rude wizard who was pushing past.

"Let's go this way. There will be fewer people here, so it's safer."

Harry said, wanting to lead the two through the woods towards the Malfoy camp.

Watching Harry walking through the dark forest, as if he had been there before and knew the direction for sure, Ron couldn't help but wonder.

"How come you know the route so well? You even know which direction has fewer people."

Harry was busy groping for his wand in his jeans pocket and didn't know how to respond, so Hermione answered for him.

"There are fewer sources of light over there, right? And we don't have to flee deep into the woods."

"Maybe Fred and the others will go there too."

Hermione said as the three of them quickened their pace.

They soon left the noise behind them, and only stopped when Ron suddenly screamed.

"Ah! Damn it!"

“‘Are you okay?’

"Nothing. Kicked a damn rock."

Ron grumbled.

"Fluorescence."

Hermione raised her wand, and a light suddenly appeared in front of the three people's eyes.

Ron followed suit, but heard Harry say with some annoyance.

"I think I lost my wand..."

"Do not make jokes!"

The two of them quickly raised their wands, allowing the light to illuminate the surrounding ground.

But there was nothing around except branches and a rock tip that had been pried out of the ground (Ron must have kicked this).

Harry's wand was nowhere to be seen.

"Perhaps you left your wand with your dirty clothes when you changed and forgot to bring it with you?"

Ron wondered. But Harry knew it was impossible.

He had already developed the habit of keeping his wand with him whenever he entered the magical world.

"Or did it fall out of our pocket as we ran further?"

Hermione sounded anxious.

Through the light of Hermione and Ron's wands, they could see the three of them approaching the Malfoy camp.

The three were standing in a sparsely populated open space at the edge of the forest, with no one around them.

"Yes, maybe that's it..."

Harry said silently, trying to comfort himself.

Before he had time to think about where the wand might have gone, a strange figure suddenly appeared in front of him.

-

The elf Shanshan, who I met on the first-class carriage platform, was about three or four hundred meters ahead.

She kept kicking herself and moved forward slowly.

Hermione was puzzled by Winky's behavior.

After understanding that Shanshan might have to keep kicking himself because of disobeying orders,

Hermione soon began arguing with Ron about the treatment of elves.

Only Harry noticed that Winky was walking very slowly, as if he was carrying some invisible weight.

While Ron and Hermione were arguing, the three of them moved a little further in the direction of Winky.

Harry could almost feel that there was an invisible figure following behind Winky.

Harry, who was used to wandering in the invisibility cloak, had a sharper intuition about this than others.

"Hello? Winky, are you okay?"

Shouted towards Shanshan.

Harry's call made the elf turn around, and he was frightened when he saw Harry and his group.

"Hah...Harry Potter, sir."

While Shanshan exclaimed, he hit himself on the head twice.

Then, the light on Ron and Hermione's wands disappeared instantly.

The forest suddenly returned to darkness.

Apparently the elf had used some magic to remove the light on the two of them, and she had punished herself for it.

But in the deep darkness, Harry vaguely felt that

From the moment Shanshan shouted out her name, she began to struggle with the invisible force behind her.

I could almost feel that there was someone standing behind Shanshan, trying to walk towards me.

"who is it?"

Harry shouted, blinking hard, trying to get his eyes adjusted to the darkness.

It felt like Shanshan's struggle was gradually calming down.

Then, a cold bass voice came from the front, which seemed to be a spell.

"The bones reappear!"

Suddenly, an uncomfortable green light burst out from the darkness and rose to the sky.

-

Harry quickly looked around, but Winky was nowhere to be seen.

"What is that—"

Ron looked warily at the scene above his head, and Harry looked up too.

I found that the light gradually gathered to form a huge skull, which slowly opened its mouth.

A giant snake like a tongue crawled out from the hole in its mouth and kept rising.

It seems to have swallowed up the Draco and Apollo 9 constellations that can be seen just by looking up, and became a new circumpolar constellation.

The strange imagery made Harry feel uneasy, and panicked screams could be heard one after another around him.

He found that Hermione and Ron were holding his upper arms tightly and dragging him out of the woods.

"what's wrong?"

I was frightened by their sudden actions.

In the green light, he saw her and Ron's pale and frightened faces, and couldn't help but ask in surprise.

"This is the Dark Mark!"

Hermione clutched her hands and trembled.

"It's the sign of that person..."

Ron also hurriedly took himself forward.

Before he took a few steps, he heard several popping sounds beside him.

Over twenty wizards suddenly appeared, surrounding them with wands raised.

In a flash, before Harry could even think, he shouted—

"Quickly open!"

Acting on instinct, he pulled Ron and Hermione down to squat before he finished speaking.

The next second, more than twenty red lights, accompanied by the sound of a "fainting" spell, collided and exploded above the three people's heads.

"Stop! Stop! That's my son!"

Mr. Weasley's familiar and kind voice came,

Harry looked up and saw that the wands surrounding them had been removed.
