Chapter 3624: Injustice Alliance (Thirteen)

After Bruce and his team had completed the perfect crime and dealt with the stolen goods, they came to the crime scene. When they arrived, they only saw Batman bleeding and Superman standing there like a statue.

Oliver looked at Batman's body on the ground and sighed. Diana put away the sword in her hand. Clark walked forward and observed his counterpart, then said, "It seems that he was too shocked and his mind was restarted. Let's take them back first."

"Batman is in your hands." Oliver looked at Bruce and said, "Let's take Superman back to the base. But I hope he doesn't do anything stupid after he wakes up."

Bruce nodded, picked Batman up from the ground, and did not take the same path as Oliver and the others. Instead, he directly summoned a bright beam of light and took Batman to heaven - don't get me wrong, it's not that Batman can go to heaven, but that Bruce physically took him to heaven.

After arriving in heaven, Bruce threw Batman directly into the holy spring pool and said to the angel next to him: "Don't touch him, let him soak here for a while. If Uriel or Michael comes, tell him that I went to Lake Eden."

The angels beside him could only nod. They didn't dare to touch Batman. As the administrators of the universe, they knew best how powerful Batman was. Everything related to Batman was the underlying setting of the universe. If he ran over now, what if he broke the code? Even more terrifying was, what if he looked at him and turned into the Joker?

Batman lay in the pool for a few minutes, and his wounds healed quickly. Not long after, he woke up. When he saw that he seemed to be lying in the water, he asked in confusion, "Lazarus Pool?"

Then, he froze when he saw an angel with wings behind him.

Apparently, Batman doesn't believe he can go to heaven either.

And if he can go to heaven, why can Bruce go to heaven?!

Bruce walked to the holy fountain and said, "You're awake. Let's go. Superman is still waiting for you."

"Don't you think you need to explain?"

"What's there to explain?" Bruce pulled him out of the pool and said, "If you really want to know, we'll have to explain it later. Because if we don't leave now, we won't be able to leave."

Bruce pulled Batman into the portal next to him. A second before he stepped into the portal, Batman seemed to hear a faint roar.

"I think we can talk." Batman said when he landed, "You should know what Superman wants to do. But I am against going back in time. But if you can travel through time and bring Lois..."

"I thought you had a lot to ask."

"That's why I'm not in a hurry to ask because there are so many of them," Batman said. "I just want to solve the problem now. It's been delayed long enough."

"Of course. We can help you. That's what we're here for. But our price is not cheap. Are you sure you can afford it?"

"What do you want? To rule the Earth?"

"You should know that ruling this messed up Earth of yours is not a good thing. But if you sincerely invite us, we can do it reluctantly..."

"Don't beat around the bush. I have to go see Superman later."

"We want Brainiac."

Batman narrowed his eyes.

"You should know that our universe's Brainiac is about to solve the problem. When that happens, I'm afraid we'll have to talk to him. There aren't many things that can impress a super artificial intelligence, unless it's another version of itself."

"What good would that do for him? Would it increase his computing speed?"

"No. But it could become him. I mean, how about a slogan like 'There can only be one Brainiac in the multiverse'?"

Batman turned to look at Bruce, but those blue eyes were never serious, so it sounded like a joke. But Batman knew he wasn't joking. It sent a chill down his spine.

"You are planning to invade the multiverse... You want to use Brainiac to invade the multiverse?"

"I don't really like the word 'aggression'. You think that the various universes in the multiverse should develop independently, but that's because you don't know what kind of crisis is lurking behind the multiverse. We are not the real invaders, we are just making preparations early."

Batman was a little silent, but with his wisdom, he could certainly infer the current situation in the multiverse. Not all the Batmen in the fighting world were righteous. Some of them came from darker places, where there were deeper secrets and more terrifying enemies.

Before the enemy arrives, it is almost impossible to convince so many Batmen to unite. Just like when he learned that Bruce had such an idea, he just thought that he wanted to invade his universe. Every Batman would think so.

Then there is only one solution left - leaving Batman with no choice.

"Even if we make Brainiac in our universe yours, how will the main and branch servers communicate with each other? Have you developed cross-universe network technology?"

"That's Brainiac's problem to solve," Bruce said. "We can provide him with a little technical support, but how to do it depends on how much he wants to unify the diversity."

"It's no accident that you targeted us." Batman turned and walked out of the room, saying, "But I don't think your plan will succeed. The situation in our universe is special, so you took advantage of it. If it were the Batman in the normal universe, he would not give you this opportunity."

"Maybe." Bruce didn't argue. He said, "But that's our concern. You just need to consider whether to accept our terms."

"You want your Brainiac to rule our Earth here? Do you think he can rule over humanity?"

"After countless reincarnations, he has gained enough experience, and he must do it well. It is not so easy to open up the multiverse, and the enemies he faces are more terrifying than those he faced in the reincarnation. He must be more cautious and take every step carefully."

Batman took a deep breath and said, "It can't get any worse. Deal."

Batman came to Superman's room. The moment Superman saw him, he sat up. His light blue eyes stared at him, full of resentment.

"Are you still going to forget everything?" Batman looked at him and asked, "Although I absolutely do not agree with going back in time, if you really want to pretend that you know nothing, maybe you can let them modify your memory..."

"Is that what you're going to say?!" Superman stood up and looked him in the eyes and asked, "You died once!"

"Yes, I went to heaven. This is not an experience that most people can have."

"Why do you make it all so easy? Does death mean so little to you?"

"Death has always been heavier for the living. For the dead, death is just death, without any special meaning. I don't have any special opinions to express."

Superman lowered his head in despair and said, "Would Lois think so too? Doesn't death mean anything to her?"

"That's a little different." Batman said, "For someone who is always full of hope for the future, death is always more painful. I happen to be not that kind of person, so we are different."

Superman looked at him again, the emotions in his eyes could no longer be described as complicated. He was angry, resentful, frightened, and at a loss.

"My death and Lois's death are two completely different things. Wonder Woman and the Joker are two completely different things. If you still want to blame me, do so. The truth is, I don't care at all."

"What's the difference?" Superman said, turning around. "If Lois comes back to life, it won't make any difference...nothing..."

"I'm not here to force you to admit your mistakes." Batman shook his head and said, "I never wanted to do this, it's you who thought I would do this. Forget it, it's up to you."

Batman turned to leave, but was quickly stopped by Superman. Superman said, "No, you can't leave."

Then he looked at the others and said, "You need to explain what's going on. What happened to Wonder Woman?"

"I heard someone calling me." Diana walked in from the door and said. Superman looked at her suspiciously, but after looking at her for a long time, he didn't see anything different.

"It's a simple trick," Bruce said. "In fact, there is more than one Diana who came to your universe."

"The Flash mentioned that he saw another figure next to Barry in your universe." Batman finally remembered that he was a detective, and he said, "If I'm not mistaken, it should be another Diana."

Superman's super brain still didn't work. He looked at Batman blankly and said, "Why is this? Why are there two Dianas in their universe?"

"Because we have the Flash." Bruce shrugged and said, "He traveled back in time and brought back a Diana from the past. She left earlier than us and came to your universe. We left together with the current Diana, so naturally there are two of us here."

Superman finally realized, and he said: "So the two Wonder Women in the surveillance video that killed Wonder Woman are your people. Past Diana killed present Diana, and then past Diana disguised herself as our Diana. So what about our Diana?"

"Here it is." A golden light flashed, and Barry appeared with Wonder Woman bound by dark energy. He then made a cross on his chest and said, "This is also the first time I know that isotopes in different universes can have such different energies. This lady of yours really gave me a big surprise. If it had been earlier, I would have asked my parents to file a lawsuit in the local court, accusing her of inciting a minor to swear."

Superman pursed his lips. He and Batman had a rare consensus that Wonder Woman was crazy.

The answer was so obvious that Superman couldn't ask any more questions. To put it bluntly, the other party staged a murder of Wonder Woman just to get his own Wonder Woman involved and stab Batman in the face at a critical moment.

As for why the other party wanted to stab Batman, Superman could probably figure it out. The key to their universe lies in the conflict between him and Batman. The conflict between him and Batman is that the Joker killed Lois, Superman killed the Joker, and Batman felt that he was wrong.

Even if such a tragedy happened thousands of times to people other than these two people, they would not learn any lessons and would eventually go further and further away.

But if such a tragedy happened to Batman, and he still insisted on his own opinion and resolutely refused to allow Superman to kill the murderer, then perhaps Superman would have nothing to say.

People don't hate saints, they just hate those with double standards. Some people usually point fingers at others, but when bad things happen to them, they are more anxious and have no principles than anyone else. This is the most disgusting thing.

But if a person adheres to a certain principle from birth to death, and even if the same tragedy befalls him, he will not change, will be consistent and will never betray, then it is no longer important whether what he adheres to is right or wrong in the secular sense.

If a person lives out his teachings with his life, like the saints and Jesus, it proves that he is not targeting anyone. People don't do anything in the end, not because they understand him, but because they can't do anything. In other words, don't argue with a madman.
