The pirates sat and forgot, and they really believed the nine truths and one lie.

Chapter 1740 Sesshomaru's Speed

Chapter 1740 Sesshomaru's Speed

Faced with Whitebeard's furious slash that was powerful enough to split mountains and cleave seas, the slash did indeed cleave Kurozumi Orochi, but it also seemed ineffective because he split into two.

Two identical, foul-mouthed black serpents stood side by side on the execution platform, a double dose of visual pollution and mental humiliation for everyone on the Moby Dick.

The words uttered from those two ugly mouths were like poisoned daggers, viciously stabbing at the most painful and unbearable parts of people's hearts, making even the most rational person feel nauseous.

They talked at length about appreciating Kozuki Hiyori during her time as the Little Purple Courtesan, their words filled with extremely vulgar insults.

"A courtesan sells her art, not her body. Hahaha, it's fine for her to play the high-minded card with those poor samurai and commoners!" A black charcoal snake shrieked with laughter.

"I'm the richest and most powerful general in Wano Country. You want me to talk about performing but not selling your body? Look at my face, do I look like a vegetarian monk chanting sutras?!" Another voice chimed in, his expression lewd.

Every man wants to sleep with me. These are the words of the Little Purple Courtesan herself. That's her charm and her self-awareness.

The two worked together to destroy the image of Hiyori Kozuki in everyone's mind.

Whether Kurozumi Orochi actually succeeded is a matter of opinion.

In this bold era of exploration, the concept of chastity among those who sailed the seas was relatively weak; strength, dreams, and loyalty often took precedence.

Only the Straw Hat Pirates, with their almost fairytale-like pure and innocent atmosphere, seem somewhat out of place with the surrounding reality.

One of the black charcoal serpents, while cursing merrily, happened to glance up and his gaze swept over the airship in the sky that was broadcasting live across the entire sea.

On the airship, News King Morgans's broadcasting team was busy, and a certain figure in the team looked somewhat familiar to him.

At first glance, he didn't recognize him.

After carefully comparing the tall figure, the unique ghost horns, and the arrogant look between the brows, he finally confirmed the other person's identity.

Orochi narrowed his eyes, a playful look on his face. "That's Kaido's son—Yamato?"

Tonight, Yamato's attire is completely different from usual.

No longer was she dressed in that sloppy, retro samurai outfit that imitated Kozuki Oden; instead, she wore a neat high ponytail and a well-fitting black casual women's outfit, exuding a capable yet calm demeanor, and no longer deliberately concealing her feminine features.

"What's Yamato doing here?"

"Does Kaido know about this?"

The two large, black serpents muttered to themselves simultaneously, exchanging a puzzled look.

They then simultaneously looked up towards the airship and shouted in their shrill voices, their tone full of malicious provocation.

"Hey Yamato, are you still trying to revive that dead Kozuki Oden?"

"I remember you used to adore that stupid samurai, treating him like your own father. Why are you so silent today?"

Seeing his idol's daughter being criticized by Orochi like that, shouldn't Yamato, with his usual fiery temper, have grabbed his spiked club and charged down to fight?

If it were the Yamato of the past, the one obsessed with becoming Kozuki Oden, then this son of Kaido, who harbors deep hatred for Kurozumi Orochi, would be shocked to hear such insults directed at his idol and his orphan.

They would be absolutely enraged and charge down recklessly, even against a massive army.

But today, Yamato is acting out of character.

She simply stood quietly at the edge of the airship, arms crossed, looking down with a cold gaze, her face devoid of any impulsive expression.

She no longer proclaims herself as Kozuki Oden, nor does she call herself the savior of Wano Country. This calm and change has surprised those who know her past.

He gained experience alongside Morgans, witnessed a wider world, and, especially under the influence of his godfather, gradually became more aware and sought self-discovery and harmony.

She was no longer the naive girl easily swayed by her emotions; she could hear the blatant provocation in Orochi's words.

She won't fall for that.

"Kurozumi Orochi," Yamato's clear voice came through the sea breeze, calm yet carrying undisguised contempt.

"Shut your stinking mouth. You have the guts to act tough here. Wait until you get back to Wano Country and go find Kaido to fight. Then I'll respect you as a man."

"You—!" Kurozumi Orochi was speechless for a moment, his face turning ugly.

The current Kaido is no longer the typical Yonko of the past.

After obtaining what appeared to be Nika's power, his strength increased to an unimaginable and terrifying level.

Fighting a monster among monsters? It's pointless and you won't gain anything; it's just humiliation.

Seeing that he couldn't provoke Yamato, Orochi stopped wasting his breath on her.

Tonight, it's more important to get down to business.

The two black-faced serpents shouted in unison, their voices suddenly turning cold, "Sesshomaru, let's finish this quickly!"

As soon as the words were spoken, the two black charcoal snakes approached each other, and then, in an extremely strange way, like two pools of liquid from the same source, they began to merge rapidly.

In the blink of an eye, the two figures completely merged into one, returning to the unique and repulsive black charcoal serpent.

Sesshomaru, who had been standing silently behind him, finally made a further move.

He expressionlessly extended a long, slender, and graceful hand with distinct knuckles, and gently placed it on the shoulder of the black charcoal serpent.

"call out--!!!"

A dazzling blue sphere of light suddenly enveloped the two figures, and the next moment the sphere disappeared from the spot as if it had teleported.

Almost simultaneously, less than ten meters in front of the Moby Dick's bow, the air distorted, and the blue orb of light reappeared.

The light then faded, revealing two figures: Orochi and Sesshomaru.

The distance between the execution platform and the Moby Dick was not short, and it even passed through some of the battlefields where the fighting had taken place. They covered it in less than half a minute, or maybe even less!

"what?!"

"So fast!"

Everyone who witnessed this scene was shocked.

Sesshomaru's bizarre high-speed movement is terrifying, possibly only slower than Admiral Kizaru Borsalino's light-speed movement.

Orochi reappeared, wearing that repulsive smug smile, standing one after the other with Sesshomaru, directly in front of the Whitebeard Pirates' flagship.

Their goal for this journey was to reach the sun and moon at the bow of the ship.

The crew of the Moby Dick hadn't expected that Orochi, having just finished negotiating a cooperation with the Fleet Admiral, would be so eager to act as the vanguard and cause trouble for Whitebeard and his adopted daughter. It seemed that things were indeed urgent.

The Fleet Admiral was also pleased with the outcome. This time, he did not return to the city tower, but instead stepped through the air back to the execution platform, standing beside the son of the Pirate King.

He had to ensure the execution of Ace proceeded smoothly throughout the entire process, blocking anyone who dared to rescue Ace, whether pirates or marines.
